Aurora happily fit herself into his side loosely, making sure she was comfortable. She wanted very much to tell him don’t move but decided she’d played the clingy girlfriend enough for now. “That could start to be a very serious problem yes. We may have to start training you in preparation which means you’ll just have to be around me more to adjust to it.” The blonde smiled a dazzling smile up at him before laughing.
“Mm... We don’t talk. At least not anymore after what happened at the Christmas Ball. I almost kicked him out but he needs somewhere to lay low. Long story.” She made a face, squeezing Zachary’s hand reassuringly - she knew her living conditions were unorthodox but her family would always remain complicated like this. “Tiring. I don’t think I’ve stopped for weeks.”
Zachary chuckled at her enthusiasm as she pulled him down to sit on the couch with her, pulling his bottom lip between his teeth as he let his gaze trail over her lazily, taking in ever inch of the blonde that he’d missed over the Christmas break. “I’ll try and prepare myself, but if I start to pass out from your beauty every time I see you then we might have a problem.” He told her in a teasing tone while gratefully accepting her company rather than his family’s, it wasn’t that he didn’t love them it was just that after some time they became a little smothering.
His brow pulled down as Aurora disappeared into thought for a moment, also thinking that he would have to call out her name just to get her attention. “Antioch is living here? I didn’t know that.” The tattooed boy murmured in a low tone, feeling slightly unsure about the fact that his girlfriend was living with her ex. Even though the other boy had a girlfriend it was still a little off putting. “Right, how’s has work been then?”
