♡ atsushi being RIDICULOUSLY excited when todo shows up at a mixer or event he invited him to. the girls hate it because atsushi will focus mostly on totty and totty thinks atsushi's just showing off how obviously not interested everyone else is in the only neet at the table
♡ atsushi's actually just really, really gay
♡ atsushi didn't actually ever have any Really Close Friends™ growing up so when he feels something for totty he's like "oh!! i want him to be my best friend!! wow that must be what this is" (spoiler alert: it's not)
♡ todo just. does not understand why atsushi keeps being a rich asshole but whenever he starts to get mad he realizes that he can't really stay upset because atsushi looks at him different than people who know he's a neet
♡ atsushi doesn't think totty's any less important than anyone else, he just thinks he's having trouble getting started. he gets upset when totty makes jokes about social caste systems. totty just thinks he doesn't understand
♡ listen todo has had the same hairdo since he first had hair. atsushi got the haircut he has now after seeing todo and thinking "wow he looks good. must be his hairstyle?" and trying it for himself
♡ they're both so infuriatingly clueless about their feelings at first. todomatsu "absolutely oblivious" matsuno. atsushi "doesn't understand the concept of romantic love" [redacted].
♡ it's so bad that one time they went to a haunted house in a group and totty got so scared that he clung onto atsushi like his life depended on it. atsushi was like "don't worry, you're safe when you're with me." totty snapped out of it momentarily to say "your cologne smells nice." everyone else in the group Knew it was OBVIOUS and yet those two losers didn't even think twice about it

headcanon that Tottys brothers like trying to convince Atsushi that poorer people do ridiculous things (like making pissy shitties with their popcorn at the movie theater) and they make bets to see who can make him believe the most ridiculous thing
FHJHDJS YES and you just know he would do like. the most ridiculous shit too. shows up to a mixer in a Garfield suit. eats his sandwiches with a fork. clicks his heels when he sees a water fountain. unironically refers to couches as "long chairs"

when atsushi goes to work totty sneaks into his closet and puts on some of his shirts (which are way too big for totty) and just flaps around the too-long sleeves and smells them cause they smell like atsushi and being embarrased when he gets caught

Atsushi seems to be drawn as an animal in promo art a lot so imagine him being a total animal lover? He and Totty are walking through the mall and Atsushi just suddenly makes a GOTDAMN BEELINE for the pet store just to look. Totty just knowingly follows his elated boyfriend in and watches him fawn over each and every animal. (Also Ichi learns Atsushi loves cats and they start bonding over them. He's also not-so-lowkey trying to steal him from Totty, who's having NONE OF IT.)
