The human body is quite fascinating, Yinos has to admit. Rhys quivers in his binds, staring uncertainly at the man standing over him. Yinos holds a scalpel to Rhys' bare chest, slowly and lightly running it down one side, watching the beads of bright red blood stain his pale and scarred chest.

A Whumper who has the power to enter dreams. They entered Whumpee's dreams and made them nightmares. Maybe they make them dream about a past trauma. Maybe they make a dream where Caretaker hurts them so bad that when Whumpee wakes up, they're outright terrified of Caretaker. Or maybe they trapped them in nightmares that they can't wake up from, as Caretaker and the team have to find a way to wake them up.

Olympite is a now rare gemstone known for its rich red color and power to remove abilities from those it is in direct contact with. when it was first discovered, it originally had the opposite effect, instead releasing the abilities hidden within if a human made prolonged skin contact with it.

due to the perceived threat of a civilization with so much power, certain organizations tried to mine all of the Olymite to combine the power into a superweapon. this, however, had the opposite effect, instead causing the abilities contained within those gems to become dispersed throughout the air, leading to the society we now know today.

once abilities started becoming mainstream, the empty Olymite with the power to take away abilities (or weaken abilities, for those with truly godlike power) came to commercial use. bracelets with Olymite for those with colds, to prevent them from activating their abilities unintentionally, handcuffs to prevent prisoners from using their abilities, and, on a wider scale, it's even utilized in city-wide ability disablers. because it could disturb the daily lives of everyday citizens, it's only supposed to be activated in emergency scenarios.

abilities form the lifeblood of the universe. everyone who breaths is blessed with an ability from the gods that adds to their lifespan, bringing them closer to a level of 'godhood'.

start normalizing long hair as androgynous. long hair can be gender-neutral too.

thinking about Yinos a lot lately but even if i were to write smth with him i. don't know what it would be

sometimes i like to think about game theory doing a video on my characters and lore because it would be hilarious to see. right or wrong it'd just be so fun.

febuwhump day 26: “please don’t do this”

       Jacks has been staying with Alé for a few weeks now, always on his guard and prepared for Yinos to show up at any time. Jacks knows Yinos isn’t going to let him go, he’s just waiting for the right opportunity; this isn’t over and Jacks knows it. He has to admit, though, that having these calm moments with Alé where, for once, he’s not recovering from any significant injuries, is nice. He can’t help but enjoy it even though he knows it won’t last. 

       'Calm’, of course, might not be the most accurate word, but it’s close enough. Jacks can’t help but flinch every time he hears a twig snap or feet on the pavement behind them, making him very bad with crowds. He can’t count the number of times he’s grabbed Alé’s hand and teleported them away to supposed safety when there was no threat in the first place. Alé’s been kind and patient with him, but he knows patience can only go so far, and Alé’s bound to get annoyed eventually, even if he hasn’t yet.
