I lied to you in that last drawing. Fenet isn't that short. Kavar is tall but so is Fenet.

Five things I love in romantic fantasy:
Magical love interest..
Horror elements.
Sizzling slow burn romance where the characters aren't sure of each other's feelings.
Political intrigue or a magic mystery.
Clever humour.
Tell me yours!

(Because I saw the six fanarts post)
If Miguel met Mother Gothel, he would be disgusted with how Gothel used her own daughter to keep herself young for a long time, especially since Miguel had a daughter of his own.
Rapunzel wasn't Mother Gothel's real daughter.

Writing update 2: I changed my mind. I started a new chapter and then I realised that, told from a different perspective, it would say too much. We are not ready to know the truth as much as the characters and everyone should stay suspicious until things become clear. This pov is like looking at things from a distance so maybe also the better choice. I don't know anymore. Why is it so complicated 😩 And I'm not gonna write that stupid scene, fuck it, I don't need it.
Tumblr media
Writing update: I'm deleting three pages. I don't think the pov is working anymore. Writing in it stopped feeling right so I guess it was a sign to switch perspectives, which I kinda didn't, hoping I could avoid writing some stuff. But there's no escape. I want to skip forward :/ I'm okay with reading angst and tragedy but writing it sucks and takes twice as long xD

And I guess tumblr doesn't give a shit about making this app functional. I still can't download images to my phone after that stupid update (I regret updating this mess, I so regret it!). I searched for tumblr in the app store and lol it says the app won't work on my phone (who would've thought) so now my phone is the problem. And other people have the same error while attempting to download images.
Everything is less and less functional. Google is a huge trash can where you can't find anything except for absolutely useless Al articles and pictures, search options don't work either. Instagram at this point is just a sponsored stream of consciousness, twitter is bots, any art site is Al poop.
Some time ago I saw people were trying to satiate the algorithm monster, now they start to give up, post less because who even looks at their work when it's all hidden under a pile of rubbish. I see less interactions because everyone is tired of everything and it's sad to look at all this.

What is your OC's favorite trait and what do wish they'd stop doing but will never stop doing? (Specifically the OC you mentioned in the tags)
I mentioned Kavar from Project Soulmate. So the favourite trait and the stupid trait? Hmmm, he's very caring but he often takes people for granted. Like, he will fight for people he loves and risk everything for them but he also fails to notice that others would do the same for him for him.

@gracetheacefromouterspace replied to your post “Ask me something :)”:
What is your favorite scene you’ve written so far?
Hard to tell. In Project Soulmate I like the exchange of letters between my main characters - at that point they open up, become more vulnerable, tease each other and eventually call each other friends for the first time. I also like scenes between Kavar and his best friend Matej because I find their interactions really funny. And I like one moment where Kavar is super intimidating towards one guy he absolutely despises. As for Project Magic I like some of the arguments between Aster and Kornelia because they show their wit but also how deeply they care about each other (at least I hope so). I also like one of their "almost kiss" scenes :3 Oh and whenever there's Gustaw in the scene it means smile comes easier :)

@shadow-schemer replied to your post “There's a lot of talk about smut in books. Some...”:
Unfortunately the erotica genre exists, which depends on smut. So I always find this discussion useless. (Of course dont put smut in children's publication. That's a given. But in my opinion, smut should be reserved to adult fiction. Adults should be able to handle adult concepts I think.)
(I'm not talking about books for children, though I agree with you that there should be no smut in children's literature.)
Anyway, I don't think erotica is the only place where smut can be used for advancing the plot. Also spicy scene ≠ erotica. But tbh what bothered me in that third opinion was the second sentence. Like, someone might not want spice in their books, that's completely okay, but if they think every s*x scene in a book is the same as p*rn then they should seek help. And yeah, one might think adults should be able to handle adult concepts... xD Idk It's kinda weird people usually don't voice their concerns about graphic depiction of violence but often smut is their limit.

There's a lot of talk about smut in books. Some people love it, some hate it, but there are a few opinions I've stumbled upon that I think are really dumb:
If you're a writer and write about your characters banging that's okay, but if you commission art of your characters banging you're a pervert. (wow, thank you, morality police xD)
If you write a s*x scene and it advances the plot it's wrong. Plot should never depend on smut. Hot scenes are only good when you can just remove them from the story and it won't change anything. (lol)
Don't put smut in books. You want it, go watch p*rn. (this is horrifying tbh)
What do you think about it?

I agree with you. Everyone is always saying "to love someone, you have to love yourself first" but if a character wasn't raised with affection or love, how can we ask him or her to have confidence all by theirself?
I've heard different variation of this saying: "you have to love yourself first in order to let someone love you" or "no one will love you if you don't love yourself". I've always hated this saying. I get what it means, and I take it more like "you need to respect yourself and understand that your needs are important to create healthy relationships". But I will never accept the "you can't be loved if you don't love yourself" because that's not true. You might have trouble with receiving love when you don't understand how someone can love you while you feel unlovable, but it won't change someone else's feelings towards you. So yeah xD And totally, you learn affection and gain confidence when you're with people who love you and appreciate you. It depends entirely on how you create your characters and how you let them interact with each other. It all matters.
I guess people like very confident characters these days, prefer those who don't need any validation and aren't insecure about themselves in any way. Everyone is always beautiful, powerful and smart and knows it and never doubts it. Otherwise they're seen as whining and annoying.
