Wow the symbolism here. The lightning tree, obviously the Kabbalah and its lightning path. The severed head, a symbol of enlightenment in death. Once again, Groot plays the martyred hanged man, but Im expecting a more powerful resurrection than usual.

Picked up Godzilla: Best of Destoroyah today. A great 4 issue, hundred page anthology for a cool $8. Some of these ‘best ofs’ are hit and miss but with 3 issues illustrated by Matt Frank, and the fourth by Dave Wachter you really can’t go wrong. Highly recommend to any Kaiju fan.

One big problem with the X-Men: They're literally called "Homo Superior" . One question: WHY? That name only makes this whole thing worse! It makes them sound like they're more than human, and superior to us! No wonder people don't like them, when they're literally called "Superior" ! That's how you breed resentment! What scientist coined that term in the marvel universe? Whoever he was, someone teach him about how to promote inclusive language. Because that's not how you do it!
