Signal rebooting.
Where was I..?
Hah. Right.
I met somebody worse than I am.
That won’t do. They have been removed accordingly.
Pardon the dust, friends. I’ve had to some spring cleaning elsewhere.
Anyways, I’ve been quite busy during my absence.
Now hush, friends. Rest well, I’m not quite ready yet.

It’s been a long, long time.
Too long. :(
But I’ve been working.
I’ve been working very, very hard.
A new experiment, new projects…
I think this may be very, very interesting…

Entry 3072 - Status report.
Experiment: Signal boost using similar tactics to a BLU Sniper bot within radius. Replace it with an SOS signal to attract all bots, neutral or enemy.
Results: I gained enough power cores to fill up the entire backup generator. Peculiarly enough, it seems there is a flaw generating defective bots in the area. They can think and feel on a basic level, as well as communicate.
Issues:
The SOS signal attracted human life. It appears that Curiosity, one of the defective bots, has made allies with human kind.
Bot anatomy is my specialty, and I have yet to get my hands on a valid human specimen without difficulty studying it.
It seems that there has been a larger and ever growing network of bots that I am not yet aware of.*
There are a few that have disconnected from the hivemind, making tracking them and their information significantly more difficult.
I must tinker with the frequencies my radio can access in order to search for them. I can hear all frequencies, but the radio cannot. Ease of access is necessary for optimal results.
* Research this hypothesis in greater detail tonight.
Overall, this experiment has been both a nuisance and a source of great interest to me. I have a few more unrelated tests to work on now, but my laboratory has been left a mess by my… Less than polite guests.
Though, I do appreciate the first one… They were far more willing until I began unscrewing their parts, then they became much more agitated. Ah well.

Medic-bot lets out a piercing yell, momentarily left confused and stumbling by the bold move Pyro had made. There’s a loud, shrieking static noise as he makes a plethora of calculations, then proceeds to rip the mask clean off. There’s a few sparks from his eyes as his core heats up from the rage he’s feeling, and his head twitches slightly to the side as he glares at Pyro.
“YOU...”
A deep breath, a shudder. His shoulders relax, and he flexes his fingers along his hands, before balling them into fists.
“Out. Get out. Now. You have five seconds to collect your things before I change my mind, du Stück Scheiße...”
*They'd stumbled upon an old abandoned base, someplace far, after receiving distress signal, with coordinates. They pushed open the door, eyes widening as they saw mechanical arms, legs, torsos, and the like tossed about on the floor*
M-maybe this wasn't such a good idea..
*They picked up a hand, that looked like it belonged to a scoutbot, and looked it over carefully*
Maybe I should've brought a weapon..
*They wheeled down the hallway, carefully avoiding robotic limbs laying on the floor, until it stumbled across what seemed to be a medbay door. They carefully pushed open the door, and saw something standing, or maybe sitting, at a desk, but couldn't quite make out what it was. The light above it was out*

“Somebody has come and help already. The situation has been dealt with. Need I say more? Or will you continue to pester me?”
He does have an edge of annoyance in his voice, but it’s swiftly replaced by a sickly sweet sing-song as he turns back to Pyro, coat loosely flowing behind him.
“But of course, you didn’t really come here to help me, right..? You came here for this thing…”
He nudges Curiosity’s head with his foot, sending it tumbling backwards and skidding into the wall like an empty can of soda.
Lowering his voice, he leans down beside the Pyro and gently plucks the lighter and matches out of her hand.
“And you know you can’t be smoking in here, dear…”

Medic-bot straightens his posture and strides forwards upon seeing their hesitation. The window of opportunity is there, and he seizes it to gain an edge over the interaction.
Knowing that she’s already trying to approach, he continues walking, nearly mowing her down unless she moves backwards.
While he hasn’t seemed to acknowledge what Pyro is doing, one of the larger metal birds lets out a soft coo, fluttering down to where Aristotle is.
“Well now, you can likely see why, can’t you? I’ve taken care of the issue.”
His voice is smooth, not a shred of doubt in sight. It’s practiced.
“So what is yours? You would have left the second you had seen this mess if you weren’t here for something…”
He knows what you’re going to try and do. And yet he seems to be stalling. Why..?

Medic-bot makes a startled hiss, leaping out of his chair with a bright red glare. Or, well, it sure feels like he’s glaring. He stalks towards the Pyro, each movement undeniably human.
“Now what do you think you’re doing..?”

Medic-bot only hums as he saws away. Though upon the fourth or so scream to stop, he does slow down slightly.
“I didn’t even know a bot could scream! Most are pre-recorded from the mercenaries… I’ll have to write that down as a new experience!”
The oil splatters across his coat, not that he seems to mind. He just keeps hacking away, tearing some parts off by hand, others with tools, and finally, he tears Curiosity’s head off with a sickening twist-snap, leaving them only able to watch as he waltzes back to his desk.
“I’ll have to write all of this down… Say, how do you feel, my friend?”
As if none of it even happened at all…

“Ohohoho, now you’re catching on, aren’t you..?” He whispers, twirling the object in his hands, “Curiosity… What an interesting name… A shame you couldn’t have told it to me sooner.”
“They’re all on the same frequency. You’re just like the rest. You may be able to think, but in the end, you’re just a purposeless piece of scrap metal.”
He’s continues to press forwards, not even looking down at the weapon they’re holding. In fact, he carelessly presses a specific point on Curiosity’s wrist-wiring, and it flicks harmlessly out of their hand.
Instead of using a screwdriver, he takes the sharp tool and grips Curiosity, sawing away at their remaining arm, purposefully fraying the wires and making a messy job of it.
“And you can’t even tell me I’m wrong!”

There’s no response.
The bot hasn’t moved from his location since you punched him. He isn’t looking at the arm, not right now. He’s merely staring at where you were before, as if he’s frozen. Yet, he appears completely relaxed.
There’s a minute of silence as the other Medic-bot shivers in the corner, tool in hand as a makeshift weapon.
That minute feels like an hour. It drags on and on and on, until it’s nearly unbearable.
Quiet.
“… I was going to be gentle with you, since you’ve been so kind. Even after you lied to me about your friendships, Curiosity.”
ccCRACK!
Underneath his polished heel are the remains of what was originally Curiosity’s arm, now ground to useless, metallic pieces.
His voice remains calm and even as he slowly approaches, the click, click, click of his boots on the tile floor echoing against the walls.
You’ve continued to make mistakes, haven’t you?

He only continues to back the robot up against the wall, chuckling darkly as he listens to their pleas. He lets them continue, only answering when they’ve finished asking questions.
“Oh dear, you’re quite curious, aren’t you? But really, I don’t think that any of the answers will matter to you in the end, will they..? Unless…”
He seems to think as he looks the other bot up and down. Finally, he hums, “What to do with you…”
Turning another tool in his hand, he begins to slowly unscrew the supports on one of the other Medic-bot’s arms. Whilst doing so, it appears he’s chosen to answer their questions.
“Hmm, parts, mostly. I’ve no need for your energy yet, and I had plenty in storage… I just couldn’t reach it in time.”
“And yes! You’ve done plenty. I’m very grateful for it!” He chimes that with another soft laugh, “I really am… But it’s never enough. Nothing ever is.”
“As for kindness… Of course, but really, you can’t expect everyone to return the favor all of the time, can you..? I had no intention of it, if that’s why you’re so upset.”

[ Collapsing reblogs, for real this time. Sorry about that! ]
“Ah, danke, my friend… I appreciate your cooperation, I’m sure this must be… Quite the shocking sight, ja?”
Even more shocking was the swiftness with which he took one of his sharper tools and dug directly into the other Robot’s chest, precisely where it needed to be to pry it open and bypass every single complicated security measure it would take to access it in the first place.
It took the RED Engineer and Medic’s combined effort for months on end to achieve something done so brutally, but so simply by another bot itself.
The Medic-bot places it’s hand directly inside, pulling out the spherical orb of energy that was essentially the heart of a bot. Normally, it’s far smaller and less concentrated, but… Well, thanks to the way the bot was attacked…
He has all of the energy he needs in the palm of his hand. It slowly dissipates as it courses through his own circuits with a sickening crackling sound. He stands up to his full height, and it dawns upon you that he may have not been standing straight in order to seem less threatening.
Because he’s not doing that anymore.
Wasn’t he fussing with the door, earlier? Seems it locked behind you.
Oh.
Oh no.
Medic-bot chuckles, it’s a smooth, yet surprisingly cruel sounding laugh.
“Thank you for your help, so far! There’s only one last thing I’d like from you, my friend. Or, well, perhaps a few things…”
He starts to circle again, but this time it’s a far tighter loop, both eyes are glowing far brighter and livelier, piercing through the other bot. Those eyes aren’t looking at an entire robot- one with thoughts and feelings, but a series of parts and lights, held together by a handful of screws.

The bot makes a pained chittering noise, a mix of soft and broken beeps, and it sparks slightly upon being dropped.
It’s certainly wounded and low health, but it’s all on the arms and legs. Almost as if the chest and torso were purposefully left untouched.
Power is at 89%
Unable to send signals to limb segments: arm_L1, arm_L2, hand_L1, arm_R1, arm_R2, hand_R1, leg_L1, leg_L2, foot_L1, foot_L2, leg_R1, leg_R2, foot_L1, and foot_L2.
Energy is being looped through core twofold to reduce power drain due to inability to access all limbs.

There’s a few burbling noises from it’s transmitters, then it goes silent. It’s offline.

“Ah… Unfortunate, I’d like to meet more like you and I…”
He whispers a hoarse “danke,” as he’s helped up, nodding in appreciation.
Leaning on the desk, he lets out a husky, almost sad laugh. “Of course, of course… My apologies, I do suppose I’ve brought this upon myself…”
“Could you do me a favor? There is an inactive robot just outside- It should be whole enough to remove its core- I just need to retrieve the right tools…”
He sighs. “It’s quite fortunate that the robots he’s sent to fight me are merely part of the hive mind.”
