I've heard of it but never have actually watched it. I'm assuming this is a good thing tho bc many people seem to like Angel Hare? At least last I checked.

I worked a bit on the old wip for the next post yesterday. I haven't drawn ponies in a while and I'm using a new brush and all that to help with my art block, so even with the sketched outlines of the old frames things might be a bit wonky and even more wonky w updates after that.

I do wanna say while some anonmagic or whatever you wanna call it might be allowed, some others might not. Also don't be afraid to send in casual asks for the characters once things are back up and running, unlike Necessity, this au hopefully will be more of a mixture of chill stuff n comedy along w some drama and horror :]

I can't wait to get back into making content for you all and the nice messages I've gotten has really helped motivation wise, I didn't really think anyone would care about this blog since it is kind of lesser than my original ask blog and I thought people would just only like that stuff and not my other work, so it's nice to be reminded that others can enjoy all of my work

Their adventures happened, most of them, the bigger ones at least. A lot of it was more like a life simulation, just without a lot of direct input aside from smaller things, like characters VERY RARELY asking for you to choose what they should do sometimes, or chatting occasionally with you, like you were simply a watching presence. Normal for them, since it was made for you. Like a show that generates itself as you watch for you.

But it was not broadcasted for humans to see. No, your connection was far more personal.

It was for you, they were all for you.

They were a show for a singular viewer. But there is no show without an audience, is there?

Of course, it's not all the same anymore, is it?

Ngl despite how little information we have so far, I'm so freaking invested in this story. Like- this is so interesting to me. I hope you find the inspiration to continue your story 🙏 🥺

A lot of the issue is from me being very mentally overworked as of late. Ironically, the planned story does have more of an encompassing idea that has already come up before in earlier posts.

Much of the inspiration comes from my nostalgia from mlp and also the older internet, a continued interest I have, so it's more likely I will be able to come back to this at some point due to that. (Solid interest relations make things easier for me.) Plus I really wanna work on it, since the planned story is also an odd mental look at my own specific interests.

I don't have a concrete answer, but it was likely over 10 years. There's more nuance to certain things, but I can't say those things just yet, spoilers and all ;]

This also isn't directly the same as the show timeframe wise. This was a personal show program. Every pony, every creature in this universe, was made by/for, and tailored to what you (the viewer) wanted. Though the technology is aesthetically older, the technology making up this odd simulation is advanced. It's going to need suspension of disbelief for some, but the source material is about magical colorful ponies. It can't be that hard, haha.

So do all the ponies we know and love exist in this digital world? Like the mane six and whatnot?

Of course! Things just happened while you were away!

Let's just say Rainbow's loyalty made her one of, if not the only, pony who truly held on. Not everypony takes abandonment well, after all. Not everypony copes the same.

Though, this au resides within earlier seasons of things because of my personal preferences.

A mixture. For the most part it is stylistic, but in the context of the program it is truly how they look. They do register when things get more detailed and have more color, often used in cutscenes or for important characters. So for Pinkie, Dash registers her as a Pink haired mare with a pink coat, so subconsciously she knows that, but for the most part she doesn't see Pinkie with a pink coat most of the time.

Well, she used to see it more often, obviously. If nobody uses the program, there are no cutscenes to be had. I hope that makes sense :]

Fuck it, I've been silent for a while and I do want to give you all something. Send some asks in to be answered by text if you so wish. It won't necessarily be in character, more questions about the world and such. I'm also likely not gonna give everything away, but maybe it'll help with me pushing to work again.
