Mild? Problem?

Im not gonna sugar coat it, I had really negative thoughts and even some negative experiences due to this blog… but I kinda love/cherish my ocs too much to get rid of them and not tell their story.

I wanna reorient myself plot wise and story wise and wanted to give myself time to do that (ironically it took digimon to realize what I find comfortable when it came to askblogging, a blog I had several people tell me against in focus of here)

So.

I’m having a poll that’ll be vital for what I’m calling the “filler arc”

Sure people came and went, after all you could buy pokemon here and do some good for the community while you’re at it! But this person, oh this person…

How did this girl find out so soon? What was this? Psychic? Was Their power that obvious at this point? They tried to blend in but they didn’t know how to talk in their language yet!

How were they supposed to explain? How was it that obvious that they’re-

Dave took the form of an absol again as they gently looked to hope.

“Can you tell me more about this person? The person who made the prophecies? She seems nice.”

Hope: She’s like a third grandma to me. She visits us as often as she can though it takes her a while to travel from her house to Terrestria. I get a little worried when she travels by herself, with her being old and all, but she’s been alright so far. She’s done a lot to help our land by informing others of what disasters could strike. It really is amazing how she knows before anyone else does. I wonder if I’ll get abilities like that when I’m old.

Hope: Oh yeah, she also carries around a weird stone on a necklace too. Dunno what that’s all about but she doesn’t like talking about it much. I’ve thought maybe it’s from a previous lover or friend or something who, well, met an untimely end, because she gets all sad and mopey if you do ask her. I try not to bring it up.

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?

Destino: Hey. You know, the technicolour theme is certainly interesting for your group. Though I think maybe add some more blacks and whites to your ensemble because, and I don't want to say this out loud, it's kinda an eyesore for me. Your boss, Chroma was it? What's your thoughts on them? Because I don't think I'd want to be anywhere near them. Their style, urgh. Gross. Orange just ain't my kinda colour.
