when I was but ecto slime in a tube the scientists dropped my container onto the floor. because lab tiles were made of asbestos back then and ecto slime is terribly acidic, I absorbed the surface layer of the tile without their noticing.
they did not realize their mistake until I was run through the machine.

much to both of our surprise, your blade drives trough the glass-like texture of my skin and lands a true, albeit negligible, blow.
"it can bleed" you think, looking down at the red fluid that has spilled from me. you take a deep breath, allowing the scent to fill your nose.
except it doesn't smell like blood. you look down again and realize that it isn't nearly viscous enough to be blood.
in fact, it's... fizzy. and smell like mtn. dew.
