The song reached number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and stayed four weeks on top of the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club chart. The Giorgio Moroder and Chris Cox remix was released on the 2013 Donna Summer remix album “Love To Love You Donna”.
