Summary:

North felt off. He couldn’t really explain it but in the last few days, he felt like he was waiting for something to happen. Like when you put two slices of bread into a toaster, waiting in anticipation as time ticked by, but no matter how much you stare at the toaster you still get startled when the toast pops out. North was feeling like that. There was a metaphorical toaster going on, ready to ding any second now, except he didn’t know what the hell was toasting in there. It was starting to get annoying.

Okay so this might be me looking way too deep into this but I can't help but notice the way these three were described in the preview for HZ025. It feels like they're touching on potential development for them.

Running won't protect you forever, Liko! - Seeing that danger is around every corner for her due to her connection with Terapagos, she can't keep running away from danger. Liko has the desire, she just needs the determination to follow through. She has to make a stand and fight to protect herself and those around her.

Show them what you've learned, Roy! - He's grown a lot since he left the island, having reliable partners in Fuecoco and Wattrel by his side. Roy learnt a lot from his travels, from making that combination attack to the training session at Kabu's Gym, it's time he showcased everything that he gained up until that point.

Surpass your potential, Friede! - Friede has always been the ace of the RVT. He's shown to enjoy tough battles as it shows him that there's still room for him to grow. His clashes with Amethio keeps him on his toes, helps him develop more as a Trainer. Perhaps this might finally be the battle where a decisive winner emerges between them.

Regardless of how it plays out, I'm super duper excited for the action we're getting next week!
