my tears ricochet by taylor swift is for the girls that donât forgive or forget, the ones who cling to a grudge with white knuckles. for the ones that burn every bridge they build. itâs for the girls that never found strength in gentleness. for the girls who disappoint their mother. girls who cry when theyâre angry. itâs for the girls who go out with a bang. the girls who can find family in any cards theyâre dealt. my tears ricochet by taylor âand you can aim for my heart, go for blood, but you would still miss me in your bonesâ swift
I genuinely love your "threads" about her, always honest with your words. Keep doing more of this!
Listen To Me: Gracey - Fragile
British singer/songwriter GRACEY has quickly become one of my favorite new artists. She narrowly missed out on a song in my Top 25 Favorite Songs of 2020, but sheâs definitely going to have multiple songs in my Top 25 Favorite Songs of 2021 playlist.Â

âWhat A Wasteâ is a breakup song about the disappointment of a relationship ending, and having to start over again. I can definitely relate to that disappointment. You invest so much time, energy, feelings, into someone only to have to let that all go, and find someone else to do it all over again.Â

âSad Songâ is my favorite song on the EP. I love sad breakup music, even when Iâm not sad or going through a breakup. This song is about feeling sad and wanting to hear a sad song, but itâs so hard to find a deep one with all the meaningless music dominating the airwaves. Thereâs a yearning to hear a song that explains what youâre feeling when youâre going through heartbreak.Â

I relate to âCanât Be Friendsâ since I donât believe in being friends with exes. Itâs too hard when you know you still have feelings for them, but you know youâre better off without them.Â

âThe Internetâ is the final song on the 4 song EP. Itâs a song about mental health, damage of fame and social media, body image, and all the struggles that come with the online world we live in.Â
GRACEY has written some of my favorite pop songs, and Iâm so glad sheâs getting to shine as an artist herself. Sheâs gorgeous, makes great music, and definitely is a future powerhouse in the pop world. I hope a full length album is on the way soon.Â
British pop star GRACEY first rose to prominence as a song writer, but is now stepping into the limelight for herself as a singer. I discovered her singles first, but then I realized she released an EP called Imposter Syndrome last year, and I love it.

âDifferent Thingsâ like every song on the EP is about a breakup. This song is about how not wanting the same things caused the demise of the relationship.

Not knowing if someone loves you as much as you love them is one of the hardest parts of a relationship. In âIf You Loved Meâ GRACEY sings about how her ex was confused about his feelings, and didnât say, know, or show his love.
youtube
âFingers Crossedâ is about how one keeps wishing and hoping the relationship wouldâve improved but never did. Itâs clear GRACEY got dumped based on every song.
youtube
âEasy For Youâ is about feeling hurt why itâs so easy for your ex to move on faster than you. I can relate.
I love GRACEYâs music and canât wait for more!
I think you should stop accusing woman of expressing her emotions in her OWN songs about her private relationship that she never happened to mention who she was with. And if you knew, she always talked about self-esteem in her songs, maybe you should read and understand what she meant, instead talking shit on the internet.
The funniest thing is that your lovely B has always made songs about his relationships and how it affected him, so I cannot see why you are so offended by it
Guys, I think it's very strange that G is talking about self-esteem only after she split from Brad
It's every thing I just get like this:
I think she should stop blaming Brad for not loving her. There is no way to force someone to love, this is something natural
I don't know that 2021 has been the vintage year for sadbangers that 2020 was, and perhaps in a global sense that's a good thing. Gracey's "The Internet" has the intensity of baseline and lyrics that mark out a classic of the genre ("I want to talk / but if I talk I'm going to cry / and if I cry / I'm going to have to tell them why / and then I'll overthink the conversation all night" hits).
Other sadbangers I have enjoyed include Nea and Shy Martin's "No regrets", Daya's "The Difference", and The Knocks and Mallrat's "R U High" (though that last one's more on an ennuibanger).
taylor wrote âall of the girls that you run dry have tired lifeless eyes âcause you burned them out, but i took your matches before fire could catch me so donât look now, iâm shining like fireworks over your sad empty townâ at age 19, but her knowing the word self-effacing at age 21 is hard for people to believe??
Iâve been accused of being cold, snobbish, distant. Those who know me well know that Iâm nothing of the sort. If anything, the opposite is true. But is it too much to ask to want to protect your private life, your inner feelings?
