Recently learned that the color of the vest and tie Arthur wears during the Saint Denis ferry gambling mission changes depending on if you have high or low honor (blue for high and red for low) so now i am obsessed with the idea that the prominence of the colors red and blue on certain gang member’s outfit also reflects their honor level.
Whittemore variants versus Arthur’s default outfit, which doesn’t have a scrap of red on it, however no matter what his blue shirt is always fucking dirty and stained. And remember the gang criticizes you if you have blood all over you.
Hosea wears the blue vest (sometimes brown) but he generally has his red neckerchief on, but he also owns a red and black scarf. Mostly good but a little bit of bad.
Red is prominently featured on Micah. His entire shirt is red and he’s usually wearing his jacket like he’s disguising his nature. Even the the grips on his guns have red. And when you rescue him from Strawberry he does not have his coat.
Dutch is the most interesting to me. He has the checkered red scarf which he rarely wears and the red pocket square over his heart. Only the back of his vest is red, like he’s in denial about it, or that it’s only possible to see who he is when he isn’t facing you and putting on a show. Meanwhile on guarma his vest is suddenly reversed!
EDIT: addition
When Hosea is killed he is wearing a completely different outfit with a blue vest and absolutely no red, and both Milton and Dutch are covered in red!

Got me sobbing on a Tuesday afternoon
do you think when charles is alone on rides, those are the rides where he grieves arthur the most, being so used speaking with arthur, letting him hear his thoughts that the rest of the gang weren't privy to, hearing the sound of the heavy hooves of his horse, the thumps on the soft ground, glancing over to arthur, to make sure he was there, only to see him smiling at charles.
do you think when charles is alone on rides, that is the time where he remembers arthur the most, where he imagines arthurs voice in his ear, closing his eyes so that he can almost picture arthurs face in his mind, only to open them to the vacant night, and relive the fact that the last time he had ever looked upon arthurs face, the last time he would ever be near arthur again, ever touch him, was when he had buried him.

destiel but cas tries to bake dean an apple pie for valentines day but everything goes wrong and he adds too much flour and instead of oil he puts in baking spray and he accidentally tips over the bottle of vanilla extract and the apples are soggy and maybe he should've gotten fresh ones and he starts a kitchen fire at least three time and when he goes and serves it dean gives him a soft kiss and takes a bite and despite feeling like maybe those 40 years of hell weren't that bad compared to what was in his mouth but then all he tastes and feels is love and gentleness and everything he's ever wanted. he smiles at castiel and the lights buzz above them and sam gets struck by lightning and dean and cas get takeout

Screaming because THIS! Verbal communication is not either characters strong suit. Not because they are bad at it, but just because it really isn’t their style. For Charthur actions most certainly speak louder that words. Also:
Okay, look, I've never been interested in other people's preferences in ships, but when it comes to rdr and I see a lot of people making comments about how there's absolutely no reason for charthur to have a romantic context and people are just delusional about it, I get a slightly funny feeling.
And yeah, you can certainly dislike what you don't like, but saying that people came up with this particular ship out of nowhere is a bit silly.
Because, may God forgive me, a very good friend doesn't literally travel halfway around the world to find the body of their good friend and return back halfway around the world to give him a proper burial. There are many things in this life that we can do for our friends, but if I were Charles, who found out that his dear friend had tragically died, I would be depressed, sure, but I would just simply move on. I would have other things to do.
Except Charles didn't.
Charles literally abandoned everything and came back. Because he cared. Because, gosh, you don't understand how deep the very fact that he buried Arthur is. If that's not the strongest form of love, then what is?
And even if that's not enough for you, look at their goodbye scene. The embrace, their faces, their body language. Just look at them. Charles doesn't even need any big words. He might as well not even say anything.
His face told me everything I already knew.
