85-2656 - More and more towers

I did quite a few sketches on Sunday 14th April in BGC. Unsurprisingly I ended up doing quite a few of the towers as the dominate the place. My friend @the_uban_sketcher (I now understand means Uban means grey or white hair in Tagalog… very witty) said that this one looks good in black and white, so I scanned this before I added the colour at home. Here is another sketch from the day we got our car headlights fixed. We ended up driving around quite a bit of the morning, so we stopped at a random place along the road for lunch. Here is the second sketch I did on Sunday 14th April when I met up in BGC with some friends for a day of impromptu sketching. This is another view from outside the Maybank Performing Arts Theatre. Here is a long forgotten sketch from my trip to Turkey last year (for work). This sketch was done on a visit to Anitkabir on my day off. I think this sculpture is supposed to represent three Turkish women mourning Ataturk’s death. This pot (from Cambodia) has featured in many of my sketches around our home. Unfortunately the other day one of our cats knocked it off the table. This sketch was done when my wife and I visited Manila Memorial Park, making an Easter visit to my wife’s parents who are interred there and also doing some cycling. This sketch was done at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf coffee shop just down the road from where we live.
