We all have our own set of likes and dislikes for different types of motorcycles. This unique set is what often leads us to preferring one brand over the other. On a similar note, I've never been much into vintage styled cafe racers. To top it all, I've never been a fan of Royal Enfield motorcycles... Till the day I got a chance to ride one of their 650 twins. The moment I swang my right leg over the seat and took the throttle, it burst into power. Oh man, it pulls and pulls and pulls! Push it roughly till 7000rpm and all you'll see is a wind tunnel. The instant torque kick in will not spare you from a backward thrust unless you commit yourself to its aggressive riding posture. To top it all the on board brakes has enough bite to tame the beast when required. Well, the bottom line is it's not the regular Royal Enfield. I always had this thing for clouds. Overcast sky couples with beautiful landscapes is the perfect delight for a long motorcycle ride. This is what I exactly faced during my stay in Kerala. Me and my friend @kush_all7 was routed toward Ooty from Wayanad when we came across this beautiful stretch of road. It was nothing but a pleasure to the eye. The thought of riding in the hills did scare me initially. It was bag of mixed feelings consisting of fear and excitement, the later being a larger chunk. Well it was a journey to remember. It's not that I'm a very fan of forests as a landscape but Bandipur was amazing. The entire journey was accompanied by deer on both sides of the road and monkeys climbing here and there. It's not long back that I discovered two wheelers are my thing.

I knew pretty well how to ride a bicycle since childhood. Hopping on my dad's @bajaj.auto Chetak back in the days for the smallest of reasons never stopped me. Yet it took me a long time to discover it for myself.

Well, better late than never!
