its been months huh. ANYWAY!! bought a new PC and returned to genshin!! i have yet to play the fontaine archon quest but im back heheh<33 (i don’t expect anyone to remember this blog lol but i’ll go back to posting)

i know its been a while, but i honestly dont play genshin anymore and even if i dont fully deny that ill never go back, theres a low chance of it happening

Coming home in the early hours of the morning allowed you to see Alhaitham in his most vulnerable state. The day was only starting to settle over the land, and in the tranquil confinement of your home is where you’d find your lover fast asleep.
But when the first sunrays of the day make contact with his figure, you catch a glimpse of a thin silver tennis bracelet adorning his wrist. It was a gift you had given him in the early stages of your relationship. You mumbled, ‘It compliments your features’ while giving it to him, though you were too shy to meet his eyes. Alhaitham on the other hand was rendered speechless. He wasn’t sure what to say, and much less to describe how he as feeling at the moment. For all he knew, there was a warm and fuzzy feeling blossoming in his chest. He ought to say that he was almost embarrassed for the effect you had on him, but no words had left his mouth.
As they say, no answer is also an answer. You were just about to pull back your gift and began to sputter apologies while stumbling over your words.
‘I-I’m-… I shouldn’t h-have…”
Had you only lifted your head, you would have known that no words had to be exchanged.
Before you could retract your arms, you were pulled into your lover’s arms, who locked his lips with your own and put all the words he couldn’t speak out loud into a single action. The action was harsh, yet passionate, and his cool exterior seemingly melted away. With the same words, you could also describe Alhaitham as a lover - rigid in following his own motivations and coming off cold in the process. Though when it came to you, the Scribe was not afraid to confront anyone that’d make life hard for you. He’s devoted, even if there are people who’d straight up deny it, “Scribe Alhaitham, devoted to a lover? Oh please, save your stories for the tavern.”
The feeling of his lips on yours, the taste of him — it was simply intoxicating. As cliché as it sounds, when he pulled away to break the kiss, you were breathless. Both of you were panting, his hands softly cradled your face and the feeling of his thumb caressing your cheek burned itself into your skin. When you locked your eyes with his, you truly felt like you were in your own world — one you could describe as cloud nine. Though the exchange lasted merely a few seconds, you felt like it was forever until Alhaitham spoke up and you were pulled back to reality. “No take-backs.”
Ever since then, the silver bracelet has always been his companion – a piece of you that stays by his side when you couldn’t.
One day, he hopes to repay you in kind but with a silver band adorning your ring finger instead.

ⵌ ALHAITHAM — kissing the worries away
you can find alhaitham with a frown more often than not. it always brings a smile to your face when you see him deep in thought, whether it be due to his research or another book he’s reading. in your eyes, it was kind of adorable. if you were to say it out loud though, he’d just scoff at you, “stop being ridiculous.”
but you don’t deter and instead lean in to plant a kiss on his forehead, the creases on it seemingly melting away. “you’ll get wrinkles if you keep frowning like that all the time”, you giggled.
you never knew that this little action would leave an impact on your lover, but alas — he was full of surprises.
“oh, don’t give me that look.”
“how could i not?” your eyebrows furrowed even tighter at alhaitham’s plea. “this is madness. i don’t want you to get hurt!”
your lover’s gaze softened as he cradled your face with his hands. “you trust me, right?”
“of course i do!”, you replied in earnest without missing a beat.
alhaitham’s lips curled into a smile at your eager confession. he leaned forward to lay his lips on your forehead, the action so full of tender care and love. a simple and yet intimate gesture, with a promise buried within it — that he will come home to you, no matter what.
“then i don’t want to see any wrinkles on your beautiful face when i come home.”
ⵌ KAVEH — kissing in public without any shame, not afraid to show off his love for you
kaveh wears his heart on his sleeve, for better or for worse. while some certain people think of it as one of his greatest weaknesses, to you it’s the thing you love the most.
once you got the news of your job application being accepted, your first thought was to seek out your boyfriend and tell him the amazing news.
kaveh was caught off guard when you ran towards him at full speed, barely being able to catch you as you leapt into his arms. he didn’t have the time to scold you and tell you to be more careful, not when you radiated such vibrant energy and met him with a huge grin on your face. kaveh simply couldn’t do anything but return with a gleeful smile of his own.
“i got the job!”, you exclaimed a little too loud, as the passersby gave you weird looks. but neither of you cared.
“of course you did!” kaveh matched your enthusiasm — he didn’t doubt for a single second that you wouldn’t get it.
he also did not hesitate for the slightest bit as he pressed his lips onto yours. kaveh had no shame, his kisses were always full of vim and vigour. it didn’t matter if you stood in the centre of sumeru’s market amidst a bunch of people — he’d never hold back when it came to his love for you.
“i’m proud of you.”
ⵌ TIGHNARI — kissing you to comfort
forehead kisses were tighnari’s favourite form of showing his love to you. it’s such a simple gesture, yet feels incredibly intimate. he always makes sure to face you when giving them, so even if it’s just a quick peck, it still feels like he’s taking a second to give you his full attention.
when you feel sick or unwell, his entire love, affection and care for you seep through his actions. “stay put”, tighnari orders you in a stern voice. however, his actions are tender and soft as his lips linger for just a second longer on your forehead. “don’t make me come back because collei tells me you’re out and about.”
tighnari’s kisses bring comfort not only to you but to himself as well. you make him feel safe and he wants you to feel the same with him. and how could you not? especially when he holds you in his firm embrace — first planting a kiss on the top of your head and then on your temple, whispering against it in a hushed voice, telling you everything is going to be alright.
ⵌ CYNO — kisses that say ‘i love you’
cyno is a man of few words. it’s not that he doesn’t know what to say, but rather that he prefers to show than tell. the same goes for your love life — you could count on one hand how many times you’ve heard him say ‘i love you’ out loud, but you didn’t mind.
because the way he kisses you tells you enough. cyno kisses you with tender care, yet fiery passion. it’s as if he was drinking out of a glass that’s will break if he got too greedy, dancing the fine line and testing the limits of how far he could go.
he never leaves the house without kissing you goodbye. “i’ll be back by dawn”, sealed by locking his lips with your own — i love you.

Over the past few days I’ve been harassed via anonymous asks from someone who is attempting to dox me. In addition to revealing personal information about other people, they have been hinting at my location, my browser, and tried multiple ways to try and grab my IP address.
I know talking about Internet security isn’t fun by any means, but I urge you all to listen and ensure you’re keeping your information safe. Please be wary of what you share on this site and on discord, with people you’ve met, with friends you’ve made online. It is unfortunate to say, but you truly don’t know who is on the other side of the screen.
IF YOU ARE BEING THREATENED AND HARASSED VIA ANON DO NOT DELETE THE ASKS. DO NOT ANSWER. SCREENSHOT THEM AND SEND THEM AS PROOF TO TUMBLR STAFF. Let staff know that you are unable to flag the message like they suggest as it is on anon. Hopefully they’ll be able to help you out, or at the very least if enough messages like this crop up they will look to protect our information and data better than they are now.
AFTER YOU HAVE MESSAGED STAFF FILE A REPORT WITH YOUR GOVERNMENT AND APPROPRIATE LEGAL ENFORCEMENT ESTABLISHMENTS ACCORDING TO YOUR JURISDICTION. The screenshots will come in handy here as well!

HOW TO REPORT A CYBERCRIME IN THE UK - THEY PROVIDE A NUMBER YOU CAN CALL IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING IT
Here’s a few methods that you can take to protect yourself and the people around you as they did allude to being able to do so through people they’ve already hacked.
1. USE A VPN. Proton VPN is free, and you can download browsers such as Opera and TorBrowser to protect yourself. Ensure that if you have a VPN downloaded that you have the option to run as soon as you turn on your laptop, and to automatically connect! If you’re like me and tend to forget, this is a lifesaver. You may have to submit captchas more frequently, but in my opinion it’s a small price to pay for peace of mind!
Keep it running when you send asks, DMs, go on discord, whatever.
EDIT 11/5/2021: If somebody has your IP address they only have your general location within about 30 miles!
2. Try to limit use on Tumblr to desktop with the VPN and private browser running - the doxxer was able to see the system my phone was running on as well as my IP.
EDIT 11/5/2021: Look into downloading an app to protect your phone such as BitDefender Mobile Security which will provide a VPN and web security protection for ~$14/month!
3. Download an AntiVirus program! It will help detect any malicious spyware - Google to find a reputable program that works for you and your budget. Bitdefender and Norton are two great options.
EDIT 11/5/2021: If you’re worried your computer has been compromised, you can do a hard factory reset!
4. Enable Two Factor Authentication on everything. There are a bunch of free authenticator apps you can download onto your phone (Google, Microsoft, etc). You also have the option of using your phone or email - whatever works for you! For an extra level of security, make sure to end any existing/currently running sessions before you set it up.
5. Change your passwords and make sure you write them down in a physical location, not saved on your phone or computer! Again - end any running sessions before you do so!
6. Don’t click any suspicious links! Don’t click links in asks! I mentioned this before, but this or another person tried to grab my IP through a hyperlink in an ask - copy and paste it into your notes to see what the actual URL is before you click! If it’s a shortened link (bit. ly, etc.) ask them to resend with the full link. Better to be annoyed with a long string of letters and numbers than to have your IP tracked.
EDIT 11/5/2021: If you are concerned about the legitimacy of a link you can always type in https://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site= into your search bar followed by the link provided!
If they sent a shortened URL, check it at checkshorturl.com
If they sent an encoded URL, check it at urldecoder.com
7. DO NOT POST PHOTOS YOU TOOK DIRECTLY FROM YOUR PHONE. There will be data attached that can pinpoint your location! Same with videos! Please be careful! If you absolutely want to post a personal photo, screenshot the picture and then post it! You can pop it into a draft on your phone and then switch to desktop to finish up, or Google how to scrub data from photos and videos before posting!!
EDIT 11/5/2021: Make sure that your social media is PRIVATE or at the very least is not associated with the email address you have for your tumblr! Try not to post photos that have been also posted on your social media!
8. USE A PSEUDONYM. They might be addressing you, but if it’s not even close to your real name it will give you an extra layer of comfort. NEVER give out personal information no matter how much they harass you. You might confirm something they’re only speculating on or give them information they didn’t have - do your best to ignore, block, and report when possible.
9. BE AWARE OF WHAT STILL HOLDS YOUR DATA. Are you sending a TikTok link? Make sure your username isn’t attached to it! Copy and paste the URL into a browser and then delete everything after the video’s ID (a string of numbers). Are you sharing a Google doc with your online friend? Make sure it’s not off your personal account!
Are you sending a photo of your license to someone? Blur out your photo, address, ID number, and middle and last names! Legitimate discord server owners should only be asking for proof of your DOB! Are you talking about school? Hobbies? Landmarks? Know that these can provide an idea of where you’re currently residing! Taking a photo of your car for some reason? Blur the license plate! Street signs! If there are signs from political canvassing in the area, blur those out too! I would say never post a photo of the area you live in or your neighbourhood - there are too many things that can appear in the background that people can use to find you. Don’t describe yourself if there are distinctive attributes in your appearance!
10. USE A DIFFERENT EMAIL WHEN SIGNING UP FOR SITES/ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATED TO YOUR PSEUDONYM. Create a new one for writing. Don’t put your personal name on there. If you end up having to change pseuds, you can easily alter it to reflect whatever name you would like to be called! Using your personal email address gives doxxers another potential avenue. Similarly with kofi - as a content creator when you tip it will reveal your first and last name if you don’t have a separate paypal account set up! IF YOU CHOOSE TO TIP ON KOFI MAKE SURE THE PERSON YOU ARE TIPPING IS SOMEONE THAT YOU TRUST. I know that’s a little strange to say after everything I just wrote, but use your gut.
EDIT 12/22/2021:
11. If they are bothering you about “unencrypted ports” on your router don’t worry. This information is accessible if they have your IP address as they can run a network scan to determine this. You can fix this by ensuring that your wifi encryption is either WPA2 or WPA2-PSK with AES encryption (not TKIF) by logging into your router settings!
Please share this and ensure you’re taking care of yourself and your data! You might never do something like this, but there are people out there who will take advantage of this. These are also great habits to have for your life outside of tumblr and social media; preventative measures will help a lot! Whether you’re reading, writing, vibing, keep yourself safe!!
