Okay but I need fic recs where these canon pairings are!
RobbxJeyne Westerling.WillasxArianne Martell ( OTP)
Aside from Celia, who do you ship Jaime, Robb, Ned and Willas with? My list is JaimexElia Martell (OTP), NedxCat or NedxCersei (guilty pleasure and because Cersei has daddy issues and Ned is seen as the nice patriarchy. RobbxJeyne Westerling .Willas x Arianne Martell (OTP)
In canon?
Jaime x Family Therapy
Robb x Jeyne Westerling
Ned x Catelyn
Willas x đ¤ˇđťââď¸
In fanon?
Jaime x Catelyn
Robb x Rhaenys
Ned x Elia (I know thereâs an age difference but he would treat her right)
Hope you don't mind i drop a fic sugguestion. How about one where there is no WOT5K or it's delayed for a decade or so, Ned dies early or is killed in an expedition against willings, in which Robb leads a war to conquer the north beyond the wall and annexes the NW and the gifts perhaps similar to the roman conquest of Gaul. It would be perfect to give more depth and worldbuildig to the Free Folk like you did the dothrakki, plus it's something thats never been written so it would be quite unique.
Eddard Stark was murdered beyond the Wall on an expedition to sue for peace with the wildlings that were becoming more frequent below the Wall. All that had been returned were his ashes.
Robb Stark wanted blood. He called the banners with the blessing of the king, and began his campaign to the Wall to claim the land beyond it in the name of his king, in the name of his father.
Ciel Dreamkeeper had seen what would happen when the kneeler lord was killed and his bones and ashes sent back South. But she was tired of waiting. She was tired of her people being treated like cattle to the Cold Ones. She was tired of others pillaging so that others might be sacrificed instead of their own blood.
It might be the death of her people, but it would be the death of their masters too, and Ciel didnât care how many others had to die for it to happen. She had lost too much to care.
Tell me youâre a fan of @fromtheboundlesssea without telling me youâre a fan of @fromtheboundlesssea.
Iâll go first.
I have to keep reminding myself that this story is wrapping up to quell the rising dread of something bad happening to Celiaâs happiness. đ
A Choice Not Mine Chapter 54
Celia XVIII
Celia felt a lightness in her step, despite her rounding belly. Cersei and the maid, Alayna, worried after her active nature, but Celia could not help it. Her child felt active too, as though they knew that their father was coming home. He was coming home and he would be there before they were born.
Celia beamed happily as she rushed around the keep trying to get everything ready for her husband. She had the bedding changed and freshened every day in anticipation that her husbandâs ship might return early. She had the room cleaned to the point it took only a minute every day to make sure everything was just right.
She and Cersei would practice hairstyles that they thought Daeron might like and Celia even hesitantly asked the queen for advice in that area. She had a new dress made quickly that would be perfect for her husbandâs arrival and made sure everything was simply perfect for when he came home, when he came back to her.
At night, she pressed her face into the pillow he would use and smile.
Daeron was coming home. Daeron was coming home.
And her child kicked her happily, as though they knew their motherâs excitement and couldnât wait to hear their fatherâs voice.
Because you like to make us suffer for the happy ending đ
why do you always make Celia suffer? why can't we have a happy Celia? or at least a Celia whose angst comes later on in the story and not since the beginning
I⌠donât have a decent answer?
I think the current The Pack Survives has her being happy. The angst wonât come for a while yet. đŹ
I mean you had two in a week you insatiable gremlins but FINE yes okay have some pictures of Wally going boat shopping
I call this one "Draw me like one of your French buoys"
This is the one where he fell asleep and they towed him away and hooked him up to an anchor, but taken before he fell asleep. Seems to be enjoying the sun.
Here he is trying to use a ladder (spoilers this was not successful)
He actually decided this one was too small.
But so far, you're thinking, these are all just charming images of a rascal! Elanor, you cry, you describe this beast as a criminal! A ruffian! A ne'er-do-well nereid! How can he be any of those things?
Well, let me show you, Anon. Let me show you.
Here he is commandeering a fishing vessel, thus STEALING the LIVELIHOODS of those HARD WORKING FISHERS
But British fishers mostly voted Brexit, so maybe you aren't sympathetic. Well, fair enough. But what would you say if I told you that he's back to his old tricks again vis-a-vis BLOCKING EMERGENCY SERVICES
THIS IS AN AMBULANCE BOAT, WALLY
GET DOWN THIS INSTANT
And finally, if his theft of a working ambulance weren't enough, here he is capsizing another boat. JUST LIKE he did in Tenby.
I warned you all. I warned you all he was up to no good. I warned you all this is an obstinate demon youth in need of an ASBO. But no, none of you listened. You fools. You played right into his flippers.
I submit to you that the most iconic feature of any animal is either unlikely or impossible to fossilize.
If all we had of wolves were their bones we would never guess that they howl.
If all we had of elephants were fossils with no living related species, we might infer some kind of proboscis but we'd never come up with those ears.
If all we had of chickens were bones, we wouldn't know about their combs and wattles, or that roosters crow.
We wouldn't know that lions have manes, or that zebras have stripes, or that peacocks have trains, that howler monkeys yell, that cats purr, that deer shed the velvet from their antlers, that caterpillars become butterflies, that spiders make webs, that chickadees say their name, that Canada geese are assholes, that orangutans are ginger, that dolphins echolocate, or that squid even existed.
My point here is that we don't know anything about dinosaurs. If we saw one we would not recognize it. As my evidence I submit the above, along with the fact that it took us two centuries to realize they'd been all around us the whole time.
You probably already been ask about this but how about a robert barathron x celia lannister
Celia was made to marry a man who would never love her. But she was a lion and she would not be taken advantage of. Her son would be the king and he would be a greater man than his father would ever be.
Sheâs finally moving on and getting happiness. Why do I know whatâs happening next. đ
Tempest Grove Chapter 18
Celia VI (299 AC)
Celia continued to do her duty and felt some slight relief in the fact that she and Renly seemed to be in a better place than they had previously been. The dance and the flowers⌠She was feeling more cherished than she thought she could possibly feel. There was relief there as well.
She had begun to keep some of the flowers her husband sent her and she had begun to dry and press some of the ones she truly liked. She still gave some to the servants, but this felt like growth.
She wasnât certain she would be able to forgive him quite yet, her husband or Loras. But at least she was finding a bit of peace. Perhaps they could foster a child of the Stormlands who could eventually take on Tempest Grove and then Lord Stannis would surely still have a chance at having a son. She could be a mother of sorts and still not be seen as a complete failure to her husband and his house.
Perhaps she could talk to her husband about it. She felt it would be a nice thing to do. It might heal something inside her. She didnât know for certain. But it might.
*me, calculating 3 years and everything that has probably happened in three years*
Cue the TikTok âoh no oh no ohnononononoâ song.
Loveâs Not Always Wise Ch 47
Robb XV
âShe is alive!â Robb shouted, throwing his plate against the wall. âI know it! You cannot tell me she is dead! I would have felt it!â
âPlease, your grace,â the maester said gently, bending down to pick up the plate himself. âIt is not wise to speak of Lady Snow, you always get too agitated.â
âI get agitated because none of you will tell me where she is or what efforts are being made to bring her here!â
âYour grace, please, you are still healing.â
âI have been healing for nearly three years,â Robb spat. He stood up and took his cane in hand, leaning against it. As far as the maester could tell, one of the arrows had struck him in such a way that it had affected his walking. He could move, but only with assistance and not quickly. His fighting days were done and he was barely twenty-one. âThis is as good as it is going to get. My sister and the North need me.â
âWe are gathering forces, your grace,â the maester assured him. âBut we must be wary of the Freys and the Boltons and the Lannisters.â
âJust tell me she is safe,â Robb pleaded. âTell me that Celia is safe and I shall take my meal.â
âYour grace, Lady Snow would wish you to eat. I do not know the lady well, but she would not wish for you to starve on her account.â
Robbâs lips formed a firm line, but he sat back down and ate his food begrudgingly. He did not know where anyone else sage Jon was.
He prayed⌠he prayed that whoever was left would go to Jon. It was all he could hope for, that they would all be together soon.
She had gotten Grey Wind out of his kennel because she had felt some strange feeling of dread sliding down her back. There had been only Northmen around and they all had respected her enough to get him. It should be fine.
Even though Catelyn had learned of the pregnancy, some part of her had wondered if it would still be best to get rid of the child. She had even checked with the maester earlier in the day, not to specifically ask about moontea, but to see if he had the ingredients to make it.
She and Lady Talisa had gone to peek into the wedding feast when she had seen everything happen.
Lady Talisa had been too frightened to move, but Celia had no such qualms.
âMother,â the words fell from her throat so easily as Lady Catelyn touched her cheek. She had to get Robb out. She had to get him out.
Robb was not the focus of anyone as Lady Catelyn held a sister, daughter, granddaughter, she couldnât possibly know. But she dragged Robb will all her might and got him out. They got him out, but it wouldnât be too long before they were noticed, and it seemed they were noticed right away.
Okay. I get why sheâs upset. I really do. But that ending had me full on Team Daeron.
A Choice Not Mine Chapter 33
Celia XI
Celia had been so used to being on Dragonstone and being able to claim her husbandâs near full attention, that now they had returned to the Red Keep, she missed his constant presence at her side.
She did not blame him, of course. They were at war now and she could remember her father and uncle having little time for her and her siblings as they rushed off to take action in the rebellion.
Even so, she missed him.
He was busy with his brother drawing plans and already regulating groups into certain positions and trying to protect the coast lines and ports from attack.
Even so, she missed him.
She smiled to herself as she worked on a favor for her husband to carry as he fought. Cersei was making one for Jaime as the two rested in Celiaâs solar.
âYou appear to be glowing, Celia,â her friend said with a gentle smile. âIt is good to see you so happy.â
Celia smiled gently as well. âIt is strange, how much I have grown to care for him.â
âDo you love him?â
Celia chewed her lip. âI think I am well on my way to,â she admitted. âI think⌠Oh, I think that I do love him. Whether that be the love they sing songs about or a love that you feel for one who is to share your life, I donât know. But I love him and I trust him.â She took a deep breath. âI just know this is what happiness feels like.â
It was true.
It was this glowing feeling of warmth that even the thought of him brought a blush to her cheeks. She had not felt quite like this with Jaime.
Perhaps because she had not been so⌠physical⌠with Jaime. Perhaps that was the reason. But it did not stop her heart from beating at the thought of her husband walking through the door as he did and bending down to kiss the top of her head.
âAre you feeling better?â he asked, his hand on her back and his thumb running along the top of her spine. âI know you were unwell on the ship.â
âMuch better after drinking some strong ginger tea,â she said.
He kissed her brow. âI was passing to get some of Rhaegarâs books. I shall see you tonight.â
She smiled at him and nodded. He kissed her lips gently and Celia continued to smile even after he left.
âIâm happy for you,â Cersei said. âYou deserve such happiness.â
Celia blushed.
