#unfortunately yes#i wish i were not#i cant even describe how often i say 'god i wish i were born & raised in japan or s korea' every single day#and the pain i feel with saying that is immense#i just feel like i would have such a better quality of life bc i would have such different values instilled in me#i would know how to be a much better adult & i would be so much healthier & my mental health would be much better#at the very least my work ethic would be SO much higher & bc of the culture instilled in an asian upbring i feel like i would be able to...#...fight the fatigue issues i have from whatever is going on with me & i wouldn't be anywhere near as debilitated as i am#i would have grown up increasing my stamina & fighting against the autoimmune disease i have while it was dormant#i wouldn't have been sheltered so much & i would have been pushed SO much harder#i wouldn't have been so behind everyone else when i turned 18 and got out into the real world#and i wouldn't be so behind in life still now at 32 bc my work ethic & stamina would allow me to fight against the fatigue & my autoimmune#disorder so I'd be able to work through it & do so many more things than I am capable of now with an american upbringing#an asian upbringing would have benefited me so much... my entire quality of life would be different & so much better on another level#asian specifically in terms of japanese and s korean maybe also thai#i cry about this sometimes lmao#like i very literally cry & feel so ...upset that i was born here & not there#ik that's really weird & showing so much privilege since people die trying to get to the us#but i would leave after my parents pass if i could#im not eligible to leave as i am right now#there'd no country that would take me as a citizen lmao 🫠 since im not quote useful unquote#I'd want to get dual citizenship & all the countries on my list have immigration checklists that i would not meet enough of#ugh maybe I'll just go to ireland and surprise a family member who doesn't know i exist & that ive never met & ask to stay with them LOL 🫠#get me out of this hell country 🥲#poll
