April saw another redhead walking down the hallway of the hospital, a deep settled thin line plastered on her lips. She was racking her brain to try and figure out who it was because April knew that she'd seen her in person before. After contemplating it for a few moments, she realized that it was Addison Forbes Montgomery. "Dr. Montgomery," she called out, waving her hand slightly. April didn't think that Addison would recognize her since she only met her a couple times, if not only once, but it was worth a shot. "I'm April, Dr. April Kepner." @wcnderfulthings

April's entire core melted as soon as the familiar set of arms wrapped around her body, feeling as if she was home once again. it didn't matter where, whenever Jackson embraced her, she knew that she was home and nothing would harm her. Those months without him were pure torture, but never in her wildest dreams did she imagine she'd be reunited with him in this unfamiliar place. Had she left the apartment she appeared in sooner, maybe she'd have found Jackson and saved herself some of the agony she'd gone through. April pressed her nose against his chest, inhaling his scent once again, a scent she thought she'd lost forever. Her arms were securely wrapped around his torso, almost as if she needed to feel his body to prove that he wasn't a ghost or she wasn't hallucinating. "I'm here now," she whispered, keeping her arms around him as he pulled back slightly. She needed and craved that physical contact with him to help ground her in this reality, the reality that they were reunited. "W-What?" she breathed, swallowing thickly. Mark and Lexie were back. Jackson's mentor and Meredith's sister were here in the flesh? "Oh my gosh... how is that even possible?" she questioned, scrunching her eyes together.

Jackson was still in complete shock as he stared at April, almost in disbelief. He wanted to believe that she was here, but the pain he would feel if she was nothing more than a hallucination would be too much. His face began to soften as she spoke more. Jackson had witness many of his friends randomly showing up on the island, so why was he acting like it was such an impossible thing for April to be here? Without another word, Jackson caved, giving in to temptations as he simply moved forward, wrapping his arms around the redhead as he held her close. The embrace was clearly something they both needed, especially with how upset April had suddenly gotten. Jackson closed his eyes as he took in her familiar scent, it was just as comforting as he remembered. "You have no idea how long I've been hoping you would show up," Jackson finally spoke before pulling away from her, but staying close. "Over the last few months, more and more have shown up. I don't know how we ended up here but April, people are back from the dead." He knew how crazy it sounded, every time the words left his lips. "Mark and Lexie. They're both here as if nothing ever happened to them."

Arizona's arms wrapped around her instantly brought April comfort, finally being reunited with a piece of home. She tightened her embrace to show her friend just how much this hug was needed on her behalf. "You've been here for months?!" she gasped, pulling back slightly. What was this place that caused Arizona to be here months before she was? Shaking her head, she did her best to put that aside and focus on seeing her best friend. "Yeah, I got a job here thankfully. At least I'm able to continue on with a sense of normalcy. I'm so, so happy you're here. I felt so lonely," she admitted, giving her friend another hug.

Arizona had completed her rounds early that morning, idly wondering over to the large board that housed all planned surgeries for that day. The blonde was lost in deep thought until she heard her name, causing her to turn. Seeing April, Arizona's eyes lit up as a wide smile formed on her lips. "April!" The blonde beamed as she rushed over towards her friend, not wasting any time with the well needed embrace. Arizona had been struggling lately, and April was just the person she needed. "Yes, I've been here for months, have you just arrived? I can't believe you're here, I've missed you so much. Are you working here?"

April accepted the book that was passed over to her, but she had a curious and confused look on her face. "I, uhh, I'm sorry, ma'am. I have to admit I'm not sure what you're talking about," she admitted almost sheepishly, looking down at the book in her hands. She began to scan through the pages as she awaited an answer, eyes glancing back at the woman. "I didn't quite catch your name...?"

"have you seen this?" the pink haired woman replied as she held the history book over to the other. "the things that they write about me is absolutely ridiculous - i seriously didn't sleep around that much." a huff escaped katherines lips. "this is so unfair - why did they make him look so good? i'm a victim."

April had gone to Blooming Spring Community Garden to try and clear her head, provide her with something happy once again. Her life had been in shambles for the better part of a few months. First she gave birth to a baby that wouldn't survive more than a few minutes and then she lost her husband... who happened to be transported to this exact place. Their relationship, at this time, was up in the air, and April didn't do well with things out of her control. Being surrounded by beauty was a way to ground herself once again. Hearing a voice, her head popped up as she saw a female near her. "Oh, I don't know if I'd be much help... I lived on a farm but I never really gardened," she revealed, a small laugh leaving her. "I'd love to try, if you don't mind a novice."

Although it's been over ten years, it felt like it was just yesterday when Val first opened the Blooming Spring Community Garden. Even though she sold it to new owners years ago, Val still enjoyed coming out to it and watching it grow into a staple for the community. Every now and again, she'd get down on her hands and knees and get to work in the garden, helping out wherever they needed. Today was one of those days. She'd just finished weeding out an area and was going to grab some seeds to plant when she came across another looking for something to do. Flashing a bright smile their way, she said, "I could use some help over there. The hard part is done... I just need some help planting."

"I've only been here a few days and I'm so out of place," April stated. She was both relieved yet let down when Lexie didn't know why she was here. It was good because it meant that they would both be confused together, but a let down because that meant she was no closer to figuring out what the hell happened than April was. "That's awesome... I mean... it's really great to see you." The last time she'd seen Lexie was before the plane crash, so seeing her in the flesh again was mind-blowing.

"April!" Lexie replied, offering a grin when she saw the familiar redhead. "Not long ago. I'm still not really sure how I'm even here," she admitted. "But I am. They let me into the residency program here so I can finish. I'm... It's really good to see you," she said, reaching out to put a hand on the other woman's arm gently.

April smiled sweetly when Jo ushered to the seat across from her, and she happily sat down with her heated up lasagna placed down on the table. "As are you, aren't all surgeons?" she mused with a chuckle, picking up her fork to start poking at the noodle dish. Hearing the name Luna, April's eyes snapped up toward the other woman, eyebrows quirked. "Luna... who's Luna?" April questioned curiously, tilting her head to the side.

jo looked up from her salad to see the red head, a small smile on her lips. "april, hi." she greeted the other, gesturing to the spare table across from her. "please sit, i know how scarce for time you are." the brunette chuckled softly. "it's very strange, i think i'm lucky to have luna here with me though - provide a sense of normality i guess."

When April saw the smile disappear from Jackson's face, her heart instantly sank and she felt a pit fill her stomach. However he left, when he left her, did he do that intentionally because he didn't want to see her anymore, because he didn't want to be married? Swallowing the lump in her throat, the redhead nodded slowly, pressing her lips together before speaking. Once she was sure her voice wouldn't falter, she said quietly, "I am... I'm here," she confirmed, pulling on her scrub top to straighten it out. "I don't... I don't know how I got here or why I'm here. I've only been here for a few days but... I've been a shell of myself," April admitted, doing her best to keep her tears hidden behind her eyes. "I thought I lost everything and everyone, but there are some of our people here. How... how did this happen?" Jackson very likely wouldn't have those answers, but just saying them aloud already took a weight off her chest.

It had been yet another normal morning for Jackson within the hospital. Despite being at Naporia for months now, the male still wasn't his normal self. He laid awake for weeks, wondering how he got here and how could he get back home? The worse part was wondering what April was doing without him, did she think he had just left without a word? He suspected his mom would be putting together an entire army of people to look for him, even if she thought he didn't want to be found. With a patients file in hand, Jackson read up on the case, getting ahead just so he could tell Mark he'd already done it with a smug smile. Hearing his name, Jackson had been too focused on the words he read to even register the familiar voice. "Yes?" His smile faltered as his face dropped once he looked up, seeing April stood in front of him. "April?" Jackson questioned in confusion as he stared at her, discarding the file on the desk before he dropped them. "You're here?" Jackson wanted to hug her, just to make sure that she was very much real. He had spent months grieving over the marriage he had lost, it was like seeing a ghost. "Are you actually here?"

April had just heated up her leftovers from the previous night when she noticed a familiar face already seated at one of the tables in the cafeteria. "Dr. Wilson?" she asked, pulling out the chair before plopping down in it. "It's good to see you... how are you getting along in this new place? It's a bit strange, isn't it?" she babbled, nervously talking in a stutter. @cquity

Walking around the corner of the hospital, April noticed a familiar figure down the hallway. "Lexie?" she called out, taking several steps toward the woman. As she neared her, it confirmed that the woman there was indeed Lexie Grey. "Thank goodness, another familiar face. W-When did you get here?" @myhcneybees

On her second day being employed by Naporia General, April ran into a familiar blonde surgeon that specialized in two different fields. "Arizona?!" she questioned, scampering toward one of her best friends. As soon as she confirmed in her mind that it was her, the red head's arms flung around Arizona's neck, pulling her close. "I'm so glad to see you... what... how... are you really here??" @brokcnrunes

April had finally ventured out into the Naporia community but not because she wanted to. It had been two weeks since she woke up and found herself here, found herself displaced from everything she knew back in Seattle. She'd been too scared to leave the home she'd grown to know in the past fourteen days but it was time. April needed a job, a reason to feel needed again. She'd went and applied to be a trauma surgeon at Naporia General Hospital and to her surprise, was offered an Attending position. Graciously accepting, she was feeling better than she had in two weeks. As she walked down the hallway, she blinked several times, feeling her mouth go dry. Was that Jackson. Shuffling down the hallway, the closer she got to the meal, the more she realized it was indeed Jackson Avery. Her husband from her... previous life? Was it previous? She had no idea. "J-Jackson?" she called out, her heart pounding in her chest. @brokcnrunes

Was that [SARAH DREW]? No, that was just [APRIL KEPNER]. They are a [CANON CHARACTER] that was pulled out of [GREY'S ANATOMY]. How weird is that? At this time, they are [THIRTY THREE] years old, and use [SHE/HER]. Hopefully they learn to love it here on Naporia! 

What point of canon were they brought here from? April arrived here at some time during Season 11 of Grey's Anatomy. During this time, she was married to Jackson Avery and working as an attending Trauma Surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

How long has it been since they arrived? (Under a year) April has been on Naporia for a couple of weeks. She is still trying to become acclimated with the new environment, lack of familiarity, lack of control over situations, and overall displacement she is feeling.

Will they be working at any of the island’s establishments? April will be an Attending Trauma Surgeon at Naporia General Hospital. Being a trauma surgeon is part of her identity and a job that she excels at. This piece of familiarity is providing her with a sense of normalcy.

She doesn't know how to navigate a life without her peers, friends, and family. April is currently married to Jackson, but time will tell if that marriage will continue... or if she's lost Jackson forever.
