Hi, do you know how in korean dialogue there’s ’가’ and ‘나’, what does 가 stands for? logically speaking it’s him/her but where does it originate from?
Hi! So 가 and 나 aren’t really pronouns. Rather, you’ll probably see them in written conversation between two people. For instance:
가: 안녕! = A: Hi!
나: 안녕, 잘 지내? = B: Hi, how are you?
They’re the Korean equivalent of A and B (like Person A and Person B) if that makes sense. It originates from the order of 한글, which goes 가 나 다 라 마 바 사 and so forth, the same way the English alphabet goes A B C and so on. Hope that answers your question!
