"Venna" (Plot)

"In a world 360 years after The Shudder, life inside the safe zone of Hjarta isn’t always as blissful as it seems. For Venna, daily life is filled with rigorous training, rules, and being treated as the black sheep. Being Hjarta’s biggest asset for her telikenetic powers, she is also the biggest mystery to those around her. Under the dome, which protects all citizens of Hjarta City Central and its two lower rings, life is holding on to what humanity has left, and protecting it. But out there beyond the outer wall, it may not be as toxic and dangerous as everyone thinks… Filled with secrets, danger, action and mysticism, we follow Venna from the clean inner city of Hjarta to the slums of the Second ring, and even out into The Outer Zone."

Here's a plot i wrote for my, in my head very grand story/world. I tried to cram in as much of relevance as i could. I am by no means a writer.

360 years ago pt1

"It was wednesday. A light breeze hit through the window. Barely making any difference in the blazing summer temperatures. You could almost hear the wood sill cracking from the heat of the sun.

When the shockwave hit, full of dust and particles that burned our skin. An eerie silence hit the world. Everyone knew this was it. The last drop that would bring all human accomplishments to a halt. Its source unknown, to everyone who survived it came from the same distance causing damage, destruction, violence, and despair. Hell had landed on planet earth." -Ghost girl - Name unknown.

Eastern scavenger warriors 25 years Post-reset. Widespread belief of the air remaining incredibly toxic holds up, one cannot go out of the safe zone without the proper equipment. Their job is to hunt the outside zones exploring and guarding the perimeters of the Central city safe zone.

Imagine the world has gone to shit part 1

Be it catastrophic events due to climate change, societal collapse, nuclear war or biological hazard. When it comes to post-apocalyptic events and its fashion, we have to consider the practicality of every aspect of every item. Let's assume the huge mountains of disgarded clothes remain, we have plenty to choose from to dress ourselves. The question is which will we consider most suitable in this violent, harsh, and dangerous environment?

Natural fabrics will wear out more quickly but lets the skin breathe and in warm periods is less irritable. Plastic and synthetic clothes on the flip side will last a really long time, if constructed in a qualitative way. Hence a mix of both materials would be recommended, always paying close attention to how the garment or item is constructed, so you know it won't fall apart after a few wears.

Footwear is a challenging thing. We have to know how shoes are constructed in order to tell apart the good quality from the bad. Leather will hold up really well if taken care of, however in warm climates it will be quite warm. Canvas made from cotton can be a better alternative. But for the most part a leather boot will the best choice. We MUST remember that good shoes that won't fall apart will have a good-year-welt or another qualitative construction that will hold up for years. At all costs we must avoid glued shoes, these will fall apart in less than a week with intensive wear. In order to not sprain our ankles in the rough terrain of the outside world, we will avoid high and narrow heels.

Introduction

I will start off this blog by introducing myself. Or moreso the blog. Because it's not very necessary to know who i am. My main blog is @wingedanklets. You can call me Fyrhp. I'm a 30-something year old living in Europe. I am very interested and invested in fashion in general, not just one style. It's also part of my dayjob. I wear gothic, gothic lolita fashion, and some form of casual black clothes for work. As long as it's practical. I'm quite attached to wearing black clothes, they make me feel like myself, and safe. But for work, as it's quite a physical job, the clothes have to be comfy, not too bare, not too hot.

From this need to have good long lasting nicely fitted quality clothes for work. And the practicality of pockets, came the idea of thinking up an entire fashion style and make it,...not boring. And so i developed the idea of, what if it was more of a post-apocalyptic type of fashion? Their clothes would have to hold up to the harsh environments and be very practical too. Ok, sure, it may or may not exist already, this concept. But i'm trying to solidify the fashion, the (hypothetical)lifestyle and all the things that come with it. The style that can be described as post-apocalyptic, upcycled, futuristic, cyberpunk style.
