Man, this was a long time coming. Nearly a year after finishing my Neil Josten study (it here) I finally managed to finish Andrew's. So many feelings about Andrew Minyard, amirite? Like I did with Neil, I drew him from different points throughout the series (aka, medicated and unmedicated. Stabby and even more stabby).

love the concept of vampires being just as vulnerable as their human blood donors while they drink... the blood making them slow and sleepy, lulling them into a drowsy stupor until they're practically immobile.

vampires knocking their victims out before draining them dry because its safer if their prey can't fight back.

vampires who, when bonded with a human they can trust, allow themselves to be vulnerable, letting their guard down just enough for the human to look after them while they drink.

vampires who will sleep for hours and hours right after they feed. The hunger leaves them aching and cold, the thirst makes their gums itch and their throat burn, so when they're finally sated, they can't help but pass out, overtaken by weary relief.

It’s strange, being in a human bed, but the sheets smell like Neil and the pillow under his head is soft, and Andrew sleeps soundly for the first time in years. Perhaps it’s because it’s so different from sleeping in a tank, perhaps it’s the soft puffs of Neil’s breathing. Whatever it is, Andrew has never known peace like this before.

I changed my designs for Andrew and Neil! It's been a while I wanted to draw them differently, especially their hair (I might still draw Andrew in his old haircut, but it's often harder to draw than it should be).

Also I gave Neil white hair because of his trauma + it gives him a 'fox' vibe so it's fitting hehe

Anyway it's been a while I wanted to draw them on the roof <3
