Would you marry a woman that smokes shisha
Salaam!
I never smoked shisha in my life so not ideal. Like if I pull up her IG and she casually in hookah bars? I might have to friend zone.
No disrespect to home girl or anything, I’m just not on that hookah like that lol.

The student protests here have truly surprised me. There aren't any happening at my Uni as it's pretty much in the middle of down town but seeing it elsewhere has been inspiring.
Despite all the obstacles present from state and federal institutions, there has been pressure and attention brought to Gaza. Even though the media attempts to shape the dialogue concerning the protests, they keep spreading.
It's truly inspiring.

a powerful supplication from the salaf
‎اللهم رضني بقضائك ،وبارك لي في قدرك، حتى لا أحب تعجيل ما أخرت ،و لا تأخير ما عجلت
"Oh Allah let me be pleased and satisfied with what you have decreed and bless me in the divine decree that is to come, so that i do not love that you hasten that which was meant to be delayed and that i do not love that you delay what was hastened for me"

What is the whitest activity you've ever done?
Salaam!
I wouldn’t consider it an activity per se but mayonnaise has become an essential condiment in my meals. Love me some mayo man.

And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make a way out for them, and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He ˹alone˺ is sufficient for them. Certainly Allah achieves His Will. Allah has already set a destiny for everything.
-Surah At-Talaq | 65:2-3.

Sounds like clinical depression subhanAllah. May Allah heal you 🙏
Salaam!
Masha'Allah, glad to see I have a clinical psychologist that follows me.
I have moments that pass after a day or so. I think most people do when life gets a bit heavy. I'm fairly in touch with my emotions and try to regulate them to the best of my ability.
Def nothing that suggests clinical depression anon.

How do I stop feeling bitter about people who obtain things fairly easily? Realistically I know it’s wrong and a Muslim shouldn’t be jealous. But it’s hard when you see people hitting milestones or achieving things within a day that you’ve been wanting for years.
Salaam!
By internalizing that Allah gives people things as He wills. You don't know why that is and how that person is meant to handle those moments. Will they be held accountable for it, will they be elevated for how they received it and so on.
Plus, you should try to appreciate it and supplicate for them as supplicating for others is essentially supplicating for yourself.
“No Muslim servant supplicates for his brother behind his back but that the angel says: And for you the same.”

Do you mean that sense of foreboding and doom? Like something really bad is about to happen and you can't shake it off? Coz same akhi. May Allah lift our anxiety from us
Salaam!
No, not like that. Sometimes you just feel empty in a manner where there isn't necessarily emotion present. I hate feeling like that as it's void of motivation or inspiration to live life.
I do my best to shake it off as soon as I can as it's incredibly unpleasant.

I hate the momentary moments of emptiness.
It truly feels like looming death and I try to shake it whenever I feel its nearness.

I've just turned 30 years old and I feel like my life is finished. No marriage,no career, no anything. Genuinely disgusted at myself
Salaam!
30 is still very young in the grand scheme of things, and plenty of time to shape your life into the things you want. Not as easy as it is in your 20's but still with plenty of room homie. It might require you a good bit of effort to remove self-comparisons between yourself and others as you're playing catch up but its very, very doable.
Truly take some time to look at the life you want for yourself, how you can possibly get there and go for it.
I have a co-worker 2 years older than me who got his first degree, and it flopped with career possibilities, he went back for a second degree after finding out what he'd like to do, worked at urban outfitters for 4 years while in school, had a side hustle, and then finished. He does well for himself and is chill. He set a 5 year plan for himself, and went for it.
