right so extra thing i didn't exactly note anywhere in the drawing: fresh's eyes aren't some kind of mood based thing, they are a deliberate decision. so teeny thing to note is that he wouldn't standardly show his true eye to just about anybody. the shot where he has the basic white eye-lights (5) is what he would generally look like if he were just wandering around without his glasses on for whatever reason. his eye-lights are drawn directly from the host's biology, so generally they would just follow that.

this also means that if he were to take a host whose eye-lights change based on a trigger, they may still do so, although potentially to a different degree depending on what the trigger in question is. if the host's eye-lights change at random, they'd continue to do so with no alteration. though if they change based on a mechanic trigger (i.e. blinking) then it would continue to follow that. though say the host's eye-lights change based on emotional state, they'd now be following fresh's emotions (or lack thereof,) and this would affect how often certain lights are formed, if at all. (the exception to this is if he were doing more of a symbiotic thing, but that'd likely be a rare scenario.)

in the two matching shots (2 & 3) where he's being all spooky, you can see his true eye because he's likely about to possess whoever he's looking at, in which case it really doesn't matter that his true eye is seen and if anything it's near unavoidable. in the other two (1 & 4,) he's looking at error with his true eye (plus the host soul in 1,) but he's not planning on parasitising error. in this case, he's choosing to be vulnerable because he trusts error enough to look at him and allow himself to be seen. in the final shot (6) he's just annoying error lol.

anyways here's the full uncensored thing:
