"Probably. Maybe they have testers. People who try the recipes out to make sure they work for everyone at home." That sounds like something that should exist, and maybe could, but Asahi can't say for sure if it does.

"Or you could focus on one over the other. Be a proofreader, or a baker. You'd be good at either. You'd be good at lots of other stuff too!" He's quick to add that last part in, because as much as he supports Makki's reading and baking, he doesn't want him thinking those are the only things he can do.

It's such a silly thing. It's so, so silly, and Asahi is going to have to thank and apologise to every member of staff that's been involved in this.

"I just can't believe you've done this." He's smiling, but really, he can't quite believe it. When he told Makki he wanted chicken nuggets for dinner the last thing he expected was to be whisked off to a restaurant he's never even heard of, but is pretty damn sure would never usually serve chicken nuggets.

"You really didn't have to." And Makki probably shouldn't have done it.

But still....Asahi can't deny that he's happy.
