Hi I'm Latimer and I make edits of scientific illustrations for fun. Feel free to use everything I post here for collages, stickers, prints, etc. - the original illustrations are public domain, so I consider my edits public as well. My mission is just to get more people to see and appreciate these works of art and history.
I find public domain illustrations on the Biodiversity Heritage Library website.
Feel free to send me requests! Just send me an ask with any of these queries and I'll see what I can find:
Species - Anything from scientific names of specific species to something as vague as "algae" or even non-taxonomic like "plankton"
Location - Any level of granularity you think is necessary, from as broad as "North America" down to specific ecosysyems like "Puget Sound"
Anatomical Features - Anything like "Skulls", "Antlers", "Wings", etc
If you want to support me, check out my ko-fi and redbubble.
