ーWhat kind of character are you trying to portray Arisugawa Dice as? How are you developing him as well?
“Dice loves gambling before everything else, to the point he’ll blow borrowed money into gambling… He’s hopeless (laughs) But! I also think he’s sensible and a very masculine character. When I played his role, I made sure to show the fact that other than the Yamada brothers, he’s the youngest amongst the characters in Hypnosis Mic. I tried to pour in more energy and keenness to show the difference between him and the older characters. Actually, he’s close to me in age, so there are a lot of aspects of him that I can relate to.”

“You have voiced the innermost thoughts of all Japanese citizens!”
– Komada and Kamio reading simultaneously the many comments on Kento’s speech
Kento (about his solo song):
“This time for my solo, a lot of the vibes were about office workers, the way they drudge through work, and all their frustrations.”
(mimes typing) “It was all these strong feelings of frustration and hate towards the company they worked for, swallowing their tongues from cursing out loud.”
(brightens) “But, it has to be said that we can channel all that negative energy into a positive one, and use that energy as motivation to work harder. That was the feeling I tried to capture in my solo song.”
