But I went and got the full Twelve Aiming set just for when Khori finally gets to do MotR. Well, aside from the hat, but I'm using crime horns on Khori so that kind of is her hat.

He who is named Oschon shall preside over the mountains. His duty: to sustain the breath of the firmament, and in wandering share in men's solitude.

Attempted to make a BRD glam for Khori that reflects her patron deity, Oschon, and I'm pretty pleased with the results! I think Wanderer's Warden has a nice ring to it.

It took a lot of hunting for the right pieces (and more than a few misses in how I wanted this to look), and I wanted to incorporate some of the Filli set into the glam because the top and arms are some of the best BRD pieces in the game to me.

No dyes were used in the making of this glam since everything more or less already worked well! Also, I have yet to touch Memoria Misera EX on this character, so I don't have any dyeable pieces or the Filli set.

okay I’m thinking about it being the Island Sanctuary—especially the sanctuary part. here is Tataru who watched you tentatively walk into the waking sands. probably did all the paperwork to get you settled in with the scions. watched with bated breath as adventure after adventure swept you up in its path. Carried you to greater and greater heights and watched you grow. Watched you take on all these burdens out of love and duty.

How through all of that she probably still thinks back to you so fresh faced and walking through those doors. how much she loves how far you’ve grown, but is so scared of how hard it’s been. She can only do so much to help; she’s just a simple girl—she knows money, politics and how to sew. she cannot do fantastical things.

So she does what she does best and she comes away with a whole island. just for you. a place all to your own—to do with as you please. A place to rest. A sanctuary. far far away from the stress of life. because god if she doesn’t think about that baby faced adventurer who came through her doors so very very long ago

Astrologian card memory cheats

So lately I've been working on leveling everything up to 80 on Selru (my native WoL character) and found myself struggling with Astro in particular: I spent way too long hovering over the different cards when I should be DPSing or healing because I'd forget what card did what in the heat of the moment cause most of the advice I got was "Green is melee and Purple is Ranged" and I sit there going "Is it Green is Melee.. Or Purple is Melee? Which one's Melee?" So I started making some Direct Connections™ with the different symbols so I wouldn't have to even look at my Astro Gauge and its now almost instant, so I figured I'd share. It's silly, but hey, if it helps anyone be less intimidated by Astro it did it's job... (plus it's nice to have it here for my own reference as well.)

Second Commander Guolmyrgan Wyssceig: Our ship has been delayed after an attack from the Scarlet Sea Devil himself. We never saw the blasted fishmen coming, and so lost most of the supplies we were bringing back. We fought as long and hard as we could to prevent the loss. Thirty-five (35) of my sailors injured or incapicitated by the end of the battle, with 30 of them needing immediate shore leave when we arrive. Our arcanists and conjurers did the best they could, which is how they'll make it home alright. I, myself, have an injury from one of the Sea Devil's lancemen. Those fishmen are getting mighty good at their disguises because I could've sworn that what bested me was actually a lady elezen with dark blue skin and green hair. But I can't imagine why any would ally with the fishmen, nor that the Scarlet Sea Devil would allow one in his crew. I'll be happy to lead a retaliatory excursion to get our supplies back when we land. It's the least I can do for my part in our loss here. Your Obedient Servant, Captain Unsyntu
