I can see your point love. Cordelia definitely came in and gave him a burst of energy and direction. Just wished she could stay :(

RANT TIME:

Ya’ll might think I’m f*cking crazy but I must say this: IM STILL NOT OVER THE WAY CORDELIA CHASE WAS RUINED AT THE END OF THE SHOW. 

When I saw this scene I for real started scream crying because Cordelia is EVERYTHING. She and Angel are a FAMILY. They are literally all that each other has, and they launched a company together, Cordelia got him started really finding a place for himself in L.A. and she helped him interact better with other people. They lost Doyle together and they gained a new team together and it is RIDICULOUS and UNBELIEVABLE that they would write Cordelia off and not have Angel mourn her death. Im so angry it makes me sick.

At the end of the day, Fred got a Hero's goodbye. She got an entire 40 minute episode about her death. Spike and angel went to the ends of the earth to try to save her life, literally.

Cordelia got like, Angel looking sad at the end of an episode. And they don't mention her again really.

It just hurts my feelings. It felt so natural to have her around in You're Welcome and then this character that originated on Buffy and had developed so fruitfully and literally started Angel investigations is just dead in a coma.
