Christians, how does God make you bold enough to share the gospel and speak the truth without shaking in fear of being hated? How to overcome the sin of cowardice and/or the effects of social anxiety? I struggle with a big fear of rejection and being hated. How can I overcome this?

one thing about biblical womanhood posts that I’ve noticed is that when it’s talked about, they still strive to emphasize the aspects that were remarkable situations— they leave a faint taste of feminism in my mouth because they focus on Deborah, the woman raised up to lead because the men wouldn’t; they focus on Jael, the woman who kills a man with a tent spike; a woman dropping a stone, Rahab smuggling Israelites and defying authorities—
And all of these are raised up and praised as the Biblical woman with just a hint of look!! We’re strong!! We’re in the thick of it!! We’re not submissive doormats!!
In one sense, this is true. These are great, godly women. They are our examples.
But in all our striving to remind people of biblical women’s strength, we cannot forget who else are our examples.
We cannot forget Ruth. Ruth who humbled herself and remains loyal with Naomi, submitting herself to God and trusting in His provision. Ruth who lays herself at Boaz’s feet and who sacrifices possibly being a widow soon again for the sake of Naomi’s care and God’s provision.
Martha— one who serves and who desires to serve
Mary— one who sits at Christ’s feet to learn and desires to hear the words of her Lord
Lydia— who insisted on hosting and serving the Lord’s messengers; who would be possibly sacrificing her wealth being a part of the church in Philippi and serving the church
Mary— Jesus’ mother who submitted herself to God’s will, submitted herself to the scorn of her peers, who trusted the Lord to fulfill His promises and whose soul was pierced with a sword
The strength of godly wives who submit though their flesh and curse is contrary— the strength of women who order their homes, are humble, are helpers, are mothers, are servers, are menders, are teachers, are caregivers, are sellers and makers, are students of our Lord.
Don’t confuse gentleness for weakness; nor tenderness for a lack of strength.
Women are strong.
And it’s not because of tent spikes.

Watching old movies makes you want to go back to that time, where although not everything was perfect, there were good manners, respect, romanticism, politeness, masculine men and sweet femininity

Oh yeah, while I'm at it:
The devil hates the family with a passion. he hates the fact that humans are able to participate in God's creation, and that God saw it fit to let the love between a man and a woman be the way to bring a new eternal soul into existence. he hates that sex is an expression of love, and he hates that women are able to carry and bear children. That's why he works so hard to try to sully, pervert, and corrupt it in any and every way possible.

"biblical marriages are set against women and so patriarchal with no consideration for wives"
meanwhile God speaking through...
Moses: yes, Man has everything he needs here in Eden but there's still something missing. he should have someone fit to help and complement him.
Peter: brothers if you're bad husbands, God's just straight up not going to listen to your prayers. get your act together and take care of your wife.
Paul: you better be prepared to die for your wife guys. and that's not a suggestion, that's God's command.
Solomon: a good wife is literally priceless. like you could be the richest man and she would still be more valuable to you than all of it combined.
Paul again: honor your wife, you're equal to her in God's eyes and co-heirs with Christ. treat her like you would yourself.
Malachi: you priests have neglected and mistreated your wives and been unfaithful even though you're supposed to be one with them? there is nothing but misery that will come for you for this breach of covenant.
Paul, yet again: if you are not mirroring Jesus Christ in how you treat her in marriage, you're failing in your duty as a husband.

Was thinking about how Adam and Eve betrayed God in a Garden and how Jesus's tomb was in a Garden.
And how that makes the story come full circle.
Cause life was given in the Garden but then Adam and Eve chose death, and then Jesus chose Death so life could be once again be given in the garden through his resurrection.
And I don't know what to do with this

Act like you’re blessed. Talk like you’re blessed. Walk like you’re blessed. Think like you’re blessed. Smile like you’re blessed. Dress like you’re blessed. Put actions behind your faith, and one day you will see it become a reality.
