Every time Atem pops up behind Yugi and says something generic like “I sense incredible spirit from that person” I’m like did the millennium puzzle actually give you vibe-reading powers or do you just really want to participate and are making up vaguely wise and mystic-sounding things to say. Do you just feel kinda left out of the conversation, Atem. Are you just kinda bored in there and wanted Yugi’s attention for a minute. is being in the millennium puzzle the social equivalent of standing just outside the circle of friends at a party and not being sure how to break in, so you’re just coming up with meaningless commentary so you can feel like you’re actually in the room with everyone. is that it? it’s okay if it is Atem I won’t tell anyone
