Easy low cal filling dinners: 300 calorie edition 🖤
Pick a main and 2 sides to create your 300 calorie or less dinner! (You can just do a 1 side for 50 calories less, and some recipes have removable ingredients for lower calories. Eg for garlic bread spray with fry light instead of butter, or don't add olive oil to salad)
Mains:
Pan seared Haddock fillet. 200 calories. Use frylight and season with a dash of white wine, garlic, salt, pepper, a teaspoon of diced spring onion (green onion) and lemon juice. Fry on med-High heat on each side and flip when golden brown. Drizzle juice from pan over the top of the fillet to serve.
Cajun chicken. 175 calories. Chop up 150 grams of chicken breast into small pieces. Add 1/2 an onion to a pan until browned, then add the chicken. Add cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic.
Low cal garlic bread. 110 calories. 2 slices of low calorie bread (45 cals per slice). Toast them then run each slice with a stick of butter or margarine. Add garlic powder or rub a chopped garlic onto each side of the bread. Sprinkle some salt and parsley on the top. For a more authentic version, add the seasonings and butter before heating, then "toast" the bread in the oven on 180c/350f until golden brown (5 mins)
Chicken salad. 200 calories. Grill 150 grams of chicken, then mix with chopped lettuce, cucumber, 1 tbspn of sweetcorn, and 5 chopped cherry tomatoes. Add a dash of salt, olive oil, and vinegar.
Egg stuffed Bell pepper. 200 calories. Chop a pepper in half and remove insides. In a bowl add one egg, some chopped onion, spinach, grated zucchini or other veggies of your choice. Mix filling together. And top with 1 tbspn of cheddar. Cook in oven on 180c/350f for 15-20 mins.
Beef chunks. 200 calories. Add 3oz/85g of beef chunks to a pan with fry light. Add garlic, 1/3 of a leek, 1/2 onion, a teaspoon of dijon mustard, and a dash of wine (either white or red is fine).
Roasted rosemary baby potatoes. 200 calories. 3/4 cup of baby potatoes, chopped in half. Cover in small drizzle olive oil, rosemary, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Roast for 30-45 mins on 450f/230c
4 veggie sausages with ketchup. 150 calories.
1 veggie burger patty with low cal Sara Lee hamburger bun. 200 calories.
Savory Sides:
150 g of steamed broccoli. Add salt and pepper to taste. 50 cals
12 spears of steamed asparagus. 50 cals
1 large red bell pepper, sliced and fried with frylight. 45 cals
150 grams of green beans. 45 cals
1 cup of cauliflower with 1 tablespoon of cheddar melted on top. 50 cals
200 grams of spinach. 50 cals
100 grams carrots with a teaspoon of hummus. 50 cals
Salad with 3 cups lettuce, 1/4 cucumber, 8 cherry tomatoes chopped in half. Season with a tablespoon of vinegar, salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice. 50 cals
50 grams of cooked shrimp with a drizzle of lemon juice and garlic powder. 50 cals
5 muscles drizzled with white wine and garlic. 50 cals
1 oz calamari drizzled with lemon. 50 cals
Egg white omelette - 2 egg whites, dash of milk, add a tablespoon of onion and 2 tablespoons of chopped Bell pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. 45 cals
Garlic bread - 1 slice low cal bread (45 cal) toasted and rubbed with butter, garlic, sprinkled with salt and parsley. 50 cals
Lowest calorie 3 piece combo: 2 slices of garlic bread, egg white omelette, and green beans: 200 calories.
Highest 3 piece combo: Many options, but none are over 300 calories.
My favourite: Haddock, asparagus and garlic bread! Filling, delicious and hits all the food groups so is good for you ❤️

So of course your body uses energy to do its stuff 24/7 which means it also burns some calories. That’s why usually when you’re on your fast you can lose the weight without doing any exercises. You still have to breathe, and you heart works also 24/7 unless youre dead well then idk so yeah calculate how much your body burns calories while you’re in your bed all day doing completely nothing:
WOMEN:
 655,1 + (9,563 x your weight in kgs) + (1,85 x height in cm) – (4,676 x your age)
MEN:  66,5 + (13,75 x your weight in kgs) + (5,003 x height in cm) – (6,775 x your age)
If you don’t know your weight in kgs because you use lbs daily or height in cm because you use feets daily then you can google it to convert it for you.

a little sneak peak, i make a batch of like 8-10 bars (i’ll have to double check how many my recipe makes) and the entire thing of chocolate bars is around 40-50 calories. 10 fucking bars for 50 calories. like hello, happiness.

How does BMR work
Your BMR is essentially the number of calories your body uses every day just by existing (if you dont calculate in your exercise level).  It won’t be perfectly accurate, but it’s a pretty good estimate.  BMR is useful for deciding how many calories your body needs and how many to deficit on a diet.   Here are the formulas:

I use BMR for calculating a deficit or predicting a trajectory of my weight loss.  Calculating a deficit or daily amount is pretty simple.  You figure out how much weight you want to try to lose in a period of time. 
Calculating a daily amount:
Find how many calories need to be deficit to lose an amount of weight (how many calories is equal to that weight)
Find your BMR for the total of the amount of time in days
Subtract the first answer from the second
Multiply by how many days 
For example lets say one pounds in a week.  One pound is 3500 calories (1kg=1575cal).  My BMR is 1306 so times that by 7 for a week is 9142 cal.  Then subtract 9142-3500=5462.  Take 5462 and divide by 7 for a daily intake and that would come out to 806 calories a day.  
This just means your end day total would be 806 in this scenario.  You can eat 806 calories and watch neflix or eat 1500 calories and burn off the extra with exercise.

Types of Hunger With How to Resist
Eye: Hunger that appeals to your visual senses. The food looks beautiful, and it overrides your thoughts to “not eat.” It looks pretty, and your mind immediately thinks it would probably taste even better.
Don’t put yourself in situations where you would see exaggerated advertisements for food. Don’t go into the kitchen, restaurants, fast food areas, etc.
If you must go to a place where you’ll see a lot of food, try to look at it as little as possible. Maybe look up “Expectations vs Reality” for food, and browse through the images. Realize that what other people are eating and what is on the advertisements is not realistic at all, because you aren’t seeing what happens after a big meal. They get fatter. Fat is what happens.
Purposely make the food disgusting for yourself. If the food is dripping, imagine that it is oil, bodily fluids, etc. If the food is steaming, imagine that it was taken out of a garbage can in the hot summer heat. If the food is cold, imagine that it was just taken out of an old, moldy freezer.
Watch Kitchen Nightmares clips and imagine that is what’s happening in the kitchen where your food was prepared.
Nose: Hunger that appeals to your sense of smell. The smell of a delicious meal may make you hungrier, breaking down your will and your strength.
Much like with Eye Hunger, you have to make the food as disgusting as possible. It’s harder with your sense of smell, but you have to tear your attention away and realize that most food only smells good because it’s been bathed in oil, butter, and fats.
Counter your sense of smell with sense of sight. Go look at yourself in the mirror, look at other people’s body checks or progress pics, and determine whether you want to eat more than you want to be beautiful.
Realize that the smell of food is temporary, even more than the sight of food. In a few minutes, the smell of food will be gone. All you have to do is wait.
Boredom: Hunger that may not be hunger at all, but simply a mind wandering to food and “wanting” it instead of “needing” it. This could easily cause binges.
You are bored because you have nothing to do. Try playing a really immersive and competitive videogame. Do not get up during loading screens. Study your worst class, read a book, write something, draw, or watch music videos.
YouTube is really effective, because there’s so many weight loss videos, mukbangs, and so many rabbit holes to get lost in. I personally really like AMFG Videos, they make weight loss videos about KPop idols. Even if you don’t enjoy KPop, I recommend watching their videos. Many of them depict comments criticizing the idol’s body, and it’s incredibly effective becauze you’re exposed to so many people shaming an idol that looks the same or looks even thinner than you
Realize that hunger is temporary. Pain is temporary, boredom is temporary, but beauty is forever.
Stress: Hunger that accompanies stressful situations, but isn’t really hunger at all, just a need for comfort. Stress-eating is almost always a binge.
Remember that this will pass. It truly will, because life is about change. Soon you will stop feeling this way, but if you eat right now, you will feel worse even longer because you will regret it. Do not give your body permanent fat because of a temporary problem.
Again, try to distract yourself with any of the methods mentioned for Boredom.
This is a complicated type of hunger. If distraction doesn’t work and you’re both truly hungry and stressed, I actually would recommend eating something in tiny portions.
Eat only five pieces. Five chips, five spoonfuls, five slices. Start getting ready to stop eating on the third bite, but really savor the first two bites so that the rest of the food seems boring.

Reasons and inspo.
Well, I don’t know how to explain this but I’ll try my best.
I’m starting this because I feel like a failure, I look at myself and think everybody sees me like the “funny” one besides my friends that are popular, pretty and skinny asides brom being what everyone wants.
I’m the typical girl that gets excited when somebody likes, but can hardly believe that someone could ever think she is pretty, so I end up questioning everyone including myself, not trusting them and finally losing any chance of getting into a relationship or something like it.
I’m the girl that has pretty friends, that is funny and confident when she’s alone but just stays shut when they open their mouth, because I believe that they have the right to talk because people actually listen to them, not like me, and I’m also afraid that people will even tell me to shut up or interrupt me.
I’m one of those girls that looks at herself in the mirror and wonders what on earth will I have to do to look better, wonders about surgeries o starving.
I’m the typical girl that fucks with whoever stays in front of her because it’s the only way she might feel close to being loved. The girl that is starting to have a reputation of a whore and gets excited when someone actually “hot” wants to be with her, just to end being heartbroken or feeling used because they only wanted to fuck her.
I’m the girl that everybody approaches and talks to so they can know something about their friends or actually ask her to present them. 
The one that has to get super drunk everytime she goes out so she can feel close to confident with herself, and ends up making stupid things and feeling super bad and dirty the next day.
I’m doing this because:
- I want to be pretty and to be CONSIDERED pretty
- I want to feel worth loving and maybe get in an actual relationship
- I want a body worth envying and for people to recognise it
- I want people to worry about me and my health
- I want my friends to start letting ME talk
- I want people to treat me gently because of how fragile I am
- I want all the guys that once refused me to say “damn, what I coul’ve had”
- I want people to stare at me
- I want to be able to wear whatever I want
- I want to feel confident being naked
- I want to feel fragile and cozy on oversized clothes
- I want to be able to sit while having a bikini on and don’t worry about my tummy
- I want people to ask me how did I do it
- I want people to talk behind my back about how thin I am
- I want people to want to be my friends
- I want my friends to talk about me
- I want people to start approaching me to talk about ME and not about my friends
- I WANT TO BE EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED 
Guys! I’m doing this, no matter what. I’m motivated and I’m ready. I just want to make it as a statement and I will be all I ever wished!!!
