“A pure soul.”
Haruko definitely considered Yuki a good, kindhearted person. She will never understand why someone could’ve thought to kill someone like her. She wishes they could’ve at least met and spoken sometime.

Haruko never disliked Sayuri, despite her actions in previous trials. Right up until the end, she thought of her as a good person. She respected her and would’ve liked to be friends.

“...I wish we could’ve spoken.”
If only in talent, Kotone reminded Haruko a lot of her mother. She’d wanted to converse with her for a while, but alas, it didn’t seem like it was in the cards. She deeply regrets not being able to talk to her; she feels like they could’ve been very good friends.
Final Rating: 6/10

“...You have a nice cat.”
They didn’t really know each other at all, but Haruko definitely respected Katrine, if only for being impressed at her fame. And the cougar was definitely impressive.

“You’re a very good person.”
Haruko definitely holds a lot of admiration for Akane, and thinks of her as a friend. She has a lot of respect for her, if not for her work in trials and investigation than for managing to be taller than her. Her only regret is not getting to speak to each other on more occasions or in happier circumstance. She’d love to become closer friends once this ordeal is over.
Final Rating: 9/10

“...”
She’s a little angry at him for playing the nice facade. She probably would’ve had a lot more respect from him if he’d been honest about himself from the start. It’s the lies that make more enemies than the truth, after all. But, in the end, she doesn’t think of him as a bad person.

“You have a good heart.”
Haruko definitely thinks kindly of Favour. She thinks of him as a friend and doesn’t have any reason to dislike them, so he has a good rating in her book. She’d love to talk more under nicer circumstances, and maybe become better friends when all of this has passed.
Final Rating: 8/10

“I thought of you as interesting.”
They didn’t really get to talk, but Haruko liked Satoshi’s humor. She thought of him as a good person, and would’ve liked to talk with him more. She was honestly fascinated with the fact that magic was a talent and genuinely believed magic was real.

“I’m still not amused.”
Although they never spoke, Haruko thought of Toto as a nice person. In her mind, she figured that maybe sometime she could help them reach something on a tall shelf or something like that. After the trial, though, her opinion’s changed pretty dramatically. She’s angry at them, maybe not for the game itself, but for playing nice and innocent for so long. The reveal did and continues to put her in somewhat of a state of confusion. You could say it’s a bit difficult for her to process (haha, tech pun).
Final Rating: 2/10 (im sorry toot)

i just spent the past 2 hours trying to fc miracle twinkle ex and what do i get for it??? suffering.||Haruko||[Re: Execution]
And so it ends.
Haruko knew exactly what would come. Just as before, the execution would occur and Rose- rather, Sayuri, would die terribly.
It was a moment she supposed someone would feel relief at the knowledge that following this, they would be free to keep living.
But… what meaning does living have to her…?
The execution began, and just as so many before her, Sayuri’s life ended right in front of everyone’s eyes. A gruesome, terrible death, and yet after so much exposure to such sights, it could only be met with solemn words.
Tumblr media
“Rest in peace…”
Haruko’s eyes drew heavily toward the ground. It could just be recreated, retaught, reintegrated into society. And yet… here it was, standing with these people, in the place of a life that could’ve been saved.
A real, human life.
And it was in that moment that she was truly upset that robots could not cry.
“I’m… I am so, so sorry… I’ve taken up the place of someone that could’ve made it out of here alive… I do not deserve to be standing here with all of you. It should be… a real person standing in my place.”
Her words were full of pain- the sound of real emotion. She covered her face, as if her eyes could actually leak tears, and heaved real sobs, as though her ability to breathe was for more than just show, another addition into convincing the public she was human.
But… it was an impossible task after all. If she couldn’t even convince herself of that, then what human would believe such a tale?

That was certainly… unexpected. For what felt like the first time, Haruko was truly startled. Nothing it could’ve predicted, no matter how many times she processed the data, would’ve prepared her for such an outburst.
But… it wasn’t her nature to lash out.
Tumblr media
“My sincere apologies, Toto-san. I did not mean to offend you by misattributing your name, however to be fair the name you’ve given has not appeared on any currently living nor previously deceased residents at the time of our arrival, whereas the other name was presented to us on identity facts, which would lead the vast majority of us to come to the conclusion we did. An honest mistake, you can call it.”
That was a lot of words.
Tumblr media
“However, I’m still greatly unamused and I would enjoy a thorough explanation, and I believe I can speak for my peers when I say we likely all would. And I also have a few questions… Did you sabotage Akari Ume, and for what reason if you did? Were you her associate? And if you are not… that person, why is their name on personal identity facts, but not yours?”

“Yes… about that…”
Closing her eyes for a moment, the carhop looked deep in thought as she spoke.
Tumblr media
“On the day of Kamei-san’s death, I assume most of us inhabitants were jolted awake by her scream, yes? Outside of her room shortly after that, Didit-san and Yvette-san were conversing. Neither of them were aware that someone was going to die, and from the sound of it, that should’ve been information that they would be savvy to. Even more interestingly, Yvette-san announced Kamei-san’s death. Furthermore, she mentioned a change in plans for herself, Didit-san, and SUL-san.”
Flickering her eyes open, she continued.
Tumblr media
“I do not know if that means that their plans had to change due to losing Kamei-san’s- rather, Akari Ume-san’s authority, or if the “change” was a change in leadership. If so, we can assume that Akari Ume was murdered by her successor, thus why a trial was not held. If the former is true, however… it wouldn’t strike me as odd if SUL killed her himself. He seems like some kind of robot to me, at least, and robotics are advancing more rapidly than ever. Many are becoming self-aware, there have been androids programmed that can pass off as 100% human, completely autonomous and even with… even with emotions…”
She looked down at her own hands with an expression that looked like… shame, perhaps? What was she ashamed of?
Whatever it was, she shook it off quickly. There were more important things than that.
"So… it wouldn’t be impossible for a robot to defy its master, especially one programmed for something as despicable as this.”
All of a sudden she seemed less confident in herself. It was hard to tell why, perhaps it was more personal in nature.

“Rose-san… thank you for being honest with us.”

“If you are being honest, that is.”

“In any case, regarding this “Akari Ume” person… I received a clue that told that the name we knew this “Akari Ume” by was an anagram of that name mixed with SUL. I was able to run that data through my system, and came out with a rather familiar name indeed.“
Line break for suspense…
”Ursula Kamei. That would be Ms. Scarlett, who died mysteriously with no investigation. Does that mean that Kamei-san was this “Akari Ume”? And… I am unsure, perhaps there might’ve been a “backup” in case of emergencies… although I’m not certain. For now… that is all I know.“
