A League of Their Own is doing GREAT among women, the audience that this series was arguably created for.
But the success of this series amongst the audience it was meant for is being shadowed by the influx of homophobic, misogynistic, bigoted white, cisgender men who are leaving scathing reviews without even watching the show.
For example, out of 527 men that have watched this show, there is an average rating of 4.2 with most of those ratings coming from individuals 45+. Out of 626 women that have watched this show, there is an average rating of 7.6 with the majority of those ratings coming from individuals aged 30-44.
People that this show was arguably not made for, are tanking the ratings.
We all saw what happened with First Kill. Let's not let it happen with this show. Leave reviews, watch from start to finish as many times as possible. Tell your friends to watch and review. Do everything you can.

Eight Lessons from Orphan Black
1. Never let anyone tell you that you aren’t worth anything. Because you are. You are worth more than you could ever imagine.
2. Never be afraid to stand up for what you believe in. Even when the world tries to knock you down, stand your ground.
3. Family isn’t just blood. Family is friends, lovers, and people you meet on the internet.
4. Don’t be afraid to be yourself. Show the world just how awesome you are!
5. If you love someone, be prepared to fight. People will tell you love isn’t worth it or you shouldn’t love so-n-so. Ignore them. Love who you love. Love doesn’t discriminate.
6. Family means everything so you better fight like hell to protect them. Stand your ground. Channel your inner Helena.
7. Don’t run away from your problems. It may seem like a good idea at the time, but eventually you will have to face them.
8. When you love someone, hold them tight and don’t let go. Never let them doubt how much you care about them. Because one day they won’t be here anymore.

STOP COMPARING THEIR LIES
Lyra lied out of NECESSITY. She lied to prevent her brother from being KILLED.
Maggie lied to PROTECT ALEX FROM EMOTIONAL STRESS. She lied to help her partner cope with her new identity and ensure that her coming out experience wasn’t miserable like hers was. It was a SELFLESS lie.
Mon-El lied for CONVENIENCE. He lied because he was fully aware that the DEO would throw him in jail if they knew his true identity. He lied to PROTECT HIMSELF FROM BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS COWARDICE AND LONG HISTORY OF SELFISH CRUELTY.
Stop comparing their lies and pretending that they are the same. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.
