I have several thoughts and feelings after watching today’s episode:

This fist-bump was so unnecessary??? yet so cute??? their constant need to be all over each other is adorable and I live for it.

Baby wrapping their entire baby hand around your thumb 🥺🥺 literally the softest thing in the universe, all the feels over these baby siblings.

yes, I love how confident Goh is on this bit, I love how he took Kiawe’s challenge so seriously and wanted to make the battle worthwhile not only for their audience but also for himself, even when he knew he didn’t stand a chance. My proud boy made me very proud indeed.

Ash wasn’t surprised?? nor worried?? He saw the whole thing coming from a mile??? I thought it was quite interesting that he turned unusually serious when the whole stand-off with Kiawe begun (since the lunch scene). Like he could see what Kiawe was doing, but he was genuinely surprised and later curious (and dare I say, impressed) with Goh’s reaction (and subsequent speech) on the situation.

my personal headcanon is that they move there when they’re adults and raise their kids by the sea (I also wrote a whole-ass fic in which they go to Alola on vacation as young adults, now it seems like a good moment to shamelessly invite you to check it out…)
