Game theory time
The lives given to Fogscreech by the cats are all what the cat wanted/didn’t have and what caused their downfall.
After seeing more of Dahliaclaw’s story and seeing his sister. I started connecting dots in the story
Dahliaclaw was never allowed mercy on his sister or for her to give mercy to anyone and his downfall was the madness caused by the abuse and loss
Streamkit is interesting because it unknown why she went to the dark forest and all she gave was Love. Perhaps she both wanted and had in her short life the love of Dahliaclaw but love is what caused her to accept the dark forest to see Dahliaclaw. Or what left her damned in the first place..
Obviously with knowing so little the rest of these are theories
Fake!Slickstar- they looked like slickstar but are never stated as Slickstar perhaps they are a cat who tried to take on Slickstar’s identity and were never Honest. They likely did not have 9 lives even if they claimed to have them and they have been found as a fraud and killed for their deception
Now this cat is honestly the hardest with the details given because Rowantorch seems like not a great cat in any ways so this may be a stretch but perhaps the reason for Rowantorch first dissecting dead bodies to killing other cats to killing his son was due in part to what previously entertained him having become more and more boring so he had to go farther to keep life engaging. Eventually what Rowantorch considered ‘mischief’ would catch up to him and get him caught and likely killed.
Nikola as a kittypet had much to prove and likely had to compensate for low self-worth for a long time. Which is why he stayed allied with the clans for a while even during their cruelty to outsiders. When it became too much, Nikola was likely foolish in his attempts to betray the clans and was caught and killed or planned something big that ultimately failed
The freaky cat, obviously has no name and is another challenge but with the life they gave Prosperity and Greed it is likely they had a clan or even a rogue group that wanted a clan that would not suffer or starve with expansive territory yet the freaky cat’s greed grew and grew taking so much that war would continually start and be unable to be sustained or even just that too much was taken and they were retaliated against
Stormwhistle wanted a balance of good and evil. And would do anything to keep it so. However they were afriad their clan was too good and even if being good was ‘good’ it was not balanced between the forces. Maybe they feared the great good being weighted by a great bad so they tried to push cats to be worse so the balancing force would be weaker
Marshbriar is one where her reason for being in the dark forest is unknown but she gave a life for Ascenstion and Death. Ascension can refer to a wish for her to get to starclan due to her cruel mate or can refer to her wish to climb a higher rank. I believe Starclan is more likely due to her committing suicide. Yet her sin was death. She killed herself at a gathering a highly sacred place and many of these other cats do have quite high body counts so it’d be odd if her giving a life for Death unless it was referring to her own death commited by her own paws
Rosestar we also know nothing about but giving a life of righteousness and regrets suggesting he tried to be righteous but went too far or did something terrible that led to many regrets including the near destruction of fallenclan.
But that’s just a theory aaa gayyyyyyyy theory!
