Duterte granddaughter draws awe, flak for Palace photo shoot
Everything’s coming up roses for debutante-to-be Isabelle Lovelie Duterte, daughter of Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, who drummed up excitement for her 18th birthday by having her predebut photo shoot at Malacañang. Isabelle, a Grade 12 student at Ateneo de Davao, is the first granddaughter of President Duterte. She is the vice mayor’s first child with his ex-wife Lovelie Sangkola Sumera. Photos posted by members of her style team on Instagram showed a stunning Isabelle posing inside the Palace and on its grounds in different gowns, including a voluminous, off-shoulder red one by Dubai-based designer Garimon Roferos. One photo showed her in a pink gown posing before the seal of the President and beside the Philippine flag. In another photo, she was in a red gown at the carpeted hallway leading to Rizal Hall, the venue for many of the official events held at the Palace. A third photo showed her in a floral dress before the fountain at the Palace’s grounds. Isabelle captured the attention of some netizens for her princess-like beauty in what appeared to be her fairy-tale palace. But she also earned the ire of other social media users who saw the Palace as an inappropriate venue for her predebut photo shoot. According to presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, the predebut photo shoot of the President’s granddaughter in Malacañang is actually a nonissue. Roque said he did not think any law was violated. “For me, there’s nothing wrong with the President’s granddaughter posing for birthday pictures in Malacañang,” he told reporters. Roque said Mr. Duterte could have opted to live in the Palace and bring his entire family with him, but he did not. When he is in Manila, Mr. Duterte resides at Bahay Pagbabago, the former clubhouse of the Malacañang Golf Club. “I think his relatives, including his own grandchildren, can have their pictures taken in Malacañang,” he said. Party venue? “I don’t think it should be an issue because they should be living in Malacañang but they chose not to do so. They’re like ordinary citizens who can have their pictures taken in Malacañang,” he said. Roque also defended the birthday party of Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Velasco and the baptism reception for Robin Padilla’s daughter held at the Malacañang complex last month. The Palace did not spend public funds for these events, as the expenses were shouldered by the celebrators, he said. “But if they want to invite the President, it should be held at Malago because the President does not want to cause traffic gridlocks. I repeat, no government funds were spent for these parties,” he said. The President would rather not go out for social events, he said. “So if you want to be with the President, you would come here and bring your own caterer,” he said. Asked if Malacañang was becoming a party venue, he replied: “There are people close to him who the President wants to spend some time with.” Velasco’s party was held at the Malacañang Park, while the reception for Padilla’s daughter was at Malago Clubhouse last month. Mr. Duterte was a guest at both events. Velasco and his friends had shared photos of his 40th birthday celebration on Instagram, during which he also took his oath as a Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan member. https://www.google.com.ph/amp/s/newsinfo.inquirer.net/952859/duterte-granddaughter-draws-awe-flak-for-palace-photo-shoot/amp ------------------------------------------------------------- This article disgusted me so much. Being a presidential granddaughter doesn't give her the entitlement to have a photoshoot in Malacañang. What she did is very disrespectful. According to Executive Order Number 310, the seal should be "exclusively used to represent the president of the Philippines". Isabelle Duterte's photoshoot is not even an official state function. I feel bad for the taxpayers, because instead of funding something more functional for the country, it went to Isabelle Duterte's illegal and unethical photoshoot. While the poor are getting poorer, the rich becomes more and more privileged, just like Isabelle Duterte, who walks around Malacañang in her exquisite red ball gown. Her lavish gown reminds me so much of the innocent's lives slain during her grandfather's war on drugs. Plus, her photoshoot is very insensitive considering that the people in Marawi are trying to live through the day, barely surviving. As the president's granddaughter, she shouldn't be insensitive and irresponsible in romping through Malacañang. Rather, she should be responsible in ensuring that her actions are conveying the president's aspirations for the country. -Eunice Fernando

Duterte wants Pacquiao to be next president
GENERAL SANTOS CITY — President Duterte wants Filipino boxing icon Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao as his successor. Speaking at the 39th birthday bash of Pacquiao at the KCC convention center here, President Duterte said the pound-for-pound boxing champion was capable of becoming the country’s next president. “Sabi ko sa kanya one time…kami lang dalawa nag-usap, gusto kita gawing presidente (I told him while we were alone, I want you to become president),” Duterte said. “Alam mo kaya mo,” the President said. “Parang tape recorder, next election, patutugtugin mo lang, ganun na yan,” he added. The President said it was his pleasure to be with the senator in sharing happy memories and in the celebration of another milestone in his life. “You have brought so much pride and joy to our country for being the world champion in the field of boxing,” the President said. “The determination you have shown and the humility embodied in the glorious triumph are worthy of emulation,” the President said. He said he was praying for the good health of Pacquiao and for his family so that the boxing hero would able to enjoy and serve the Filipino people. “Continue to inspire as we lead them towards a more prosperous life,” Duterte added. Recalling how he used to be just another ordinary man roaming the streets of this city, Pacquiao said in his message he did not expect the kind of life he was having now. “I want to be an inspiration to everyone, especially the poor. Huwag kayong susuko sa buhay. Huwag mawalan ng pag-asa at (huwag) ma-discourage because God has plan for you,” Pacquiao said. The senator’s mother, Dionisia, said she was not sure if God would bring them enough money to make Pacquiao win the presidency but she assured her son she would support him. Read more: https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/953360/breaking-news-rodrigo-duterte-manny-pacquiao-presidency-boxing#ixzz51cr7nddk Follow us: @inquirerdotnet on Twitter | inquirerdotnet on Facebook ------------------------------------------------------------- This is the most unintelligent statement from President Duterte. Manny Pacquiao may have brought home the bacon to this country, but to clear things out, Politics is not a boxing field. He can't even fulfill his duties as a senator, he is always absent in the state meetings. He has 0 background in politics, just the fact that he became a Congress man for a few years. It's not a valid reason to run for senators, what more if it is presidency? He lacks experience. Plus, he didn't even study law. He doesn't know about the separation of state from the church as well. Him preaching in the Senate won't resolve the poverty and crime rate our country is facing. Besides, no one would want a president who is mysoginist and homophobic who thinks the LGBT people are worse than animals, thinks contraception is sinful, and supports the brutal war in drugs.

How Maine Mendoza remains humble despite showbiz success
MANILA, Philippines – Maine Mendoza's career has skyrocketed in the last two years since being introduced as Yaya Dub on Eat Bulaga and becoming one half of the AlDub tandem with Alden Richards. But despite all the attention, Maine has remained humble and approachable to many people. In an interview with reporters at the launch of her book Yup, I am That Girl on Thursday, October 26, Maine said that she doesn't need to change anything about herself because her fans and people close to her have accepted her for who she is. (READ: After 2 years, Maine Mendoza says AlDub team remains strong)
"'Yung mga fans naman namin tanggap nila ako for who I am and for who I am not. So I don't need the feel to change for anybody, so okay ako sa ganun," she said. (Our fans have accepted for who I am and for who I am not. I don't feel the need to change for anyone, so I'm okay with that.)
Yup, I am That Girl book Aside from hosting and acting, Maine is also busy helping out her family run a franchise of a fast food restaurant she endorses, and has added "author" to her resume with the launch of her book Yup, I am That Girl. The book give fans a peek into Maine's life, including her family, the AlDub phenomenon, getting discovered by Eat Bulaga, and her favorite things.
Thousands of her fans attended the book signing at TriNoma mall in Quezon City. At one point, she got emotional when she saw the fan turnout for the event.
Maine shared that aside from her blog, she wanted to come out with a published work, that's why she decided to produce the book. She was suprised to hear that as early as 10pm the night before the launch, many fans were lining up to get into the area where the book signing will be held. "Wala nga akong achievement (I really don't have any achievements)," she said when asked how different it was having a book from her other accomplishments. "Ang pinaka-achievement ko na is really finishing college, kasi hindi naman po ako ganun nag-excel sa school. Nasulat ko po iyan sa book kaya mas malalaman iyan ng mga tao. So mostly yung mga achievements na nangyari nung pumasok ako sa showbiz." (My biggest achievement is really finishing college, because I never really excelled in school. I wrote that in the book so people will know more about that chapter of my life. So mostly of the achievements really happened when I entered showbiz.) Maine said that "in a way" the book is also a way to overcome her shyness. "Tulad nga ng #Unfiltered book of Pessimistic Optimist Bella, dito kasi no pretensions. In-open ko talaga 'yung puso ko sa mga tao." (Like the #Unfiltered book of Pessimistic Optimist Bella, here there's no pretensions. I really opened my heart to the people with this.) Maine also said that she's happy to be back in Twitter after keeping quiet for a few months, saying that she has learned to shut out the negativity around her.
"Before kasi, I'm fond of going to my bashers' accounts for some reason na parang naaliw ako nababasa – 'yung mga sinasabi nila about me. But s'yempe ngayon, ang hirap naman na puro ka negativity sa system mo. So let's just look at the postive side of life." (Before, I'm fond of going to my bashers' accounts for some reason because I got amused reading what they say about me. But now, it's hard when negativity is in your system. So let's just look at the positive side of life.) She also said to watch out for a movie project she will be doing. The book Yup, I am That Girl is now available in bookstores for P295. – Rappler.com

Maine Mendoza which appeared in the national TV became number 1 trending in twitter and other social media, where she earned countless supporters and fans. Despite of all the fame and attention, she remained humble and kind. What I can say that is Maine is a matured and strong woman and I adore her for always being who she really is in-front and back of the cameras. I also love how Maine handled all the hate and bashers and turning them into her inspiration to not give up and look on the positive side of life.

The killing of Charice Pempengco ...and the birthing of Jake Zyrus
So you think you have heard it all? No, you haven’t.
X
This much has been revealed:
Charice Pempengco is “dead;” long live Jake Zyrus!;
Jake has his boobs removed and he’s taking hormones preparatory to his transition to full-fledged manhood; and
Jake has broken up (dumped?) with Alyssa Quijano for a new non-showbiz girl.
On Oct. 6 at the Music Museum, the newest kid on the block will make his formal introduction at a concert aptly titled I Am Jake, produced by The Mad Union Entertainment Production and Echo Jham Productions. It will be Jake’s coming-out party, directed by Calvin Neria with Troy Laureta as musical director (he’s a Fil-Am keyboardist and record producer who has worked with international artists such as Ariana Grande, Deborah Cox, Iggy Azalea and David Foster who is like a second father to Jake).
“I’m excited about the concert because I will be able to finally express my real self,” Jake told Conversations. “I’m also excited about the kind of music that I will be performing. The concert is perfect for those who want to celebrate themselves.”
Added Calvin, “It might not be the birit singer that you will see on stage but you will be surprised what Jake will present.”
Aside from the tattoos (one in honor of his mom Raquel and another in memory of his dad) all over his arms, Jake bared more of his new persona in an exclusive Conversation.
Why didn’t you have the names of your lovers also immortalized on your arms? You have more than enough space.
(Laughs) “Parang Johnny Depp, hahahaha! May tattoo siyang ‘Wynona Forever’ when Wynona Ryder was his girlfriend and when they broke up, he had the ‘na’ erased and what remained was ‘Wyno Forever.’ Parang ganoon? Hahaha!!!”
If memory serves, I stood as one of theninongs/ninangs at the baptism of Charice Pempengco and her confirmation as a Roman Catholic. What happened to her?
“Nag-abroad na, hahahaha!!!”
Since you are not my inaanak, I am withholding my gift for you.
“Ganoon po?”
Very BB Gandanghari who said that she killed Rustom Padilla but she couldn’t be accused of murder. No body, no evidence, no crime. See?
“Ganoon po ba yon? Hahahaha!!!”
There are so many Jakes already — Jake Gyllenhaal, Jake Cuenca, Jake Vargas, Jake Ejercito and Citizen Jake (the titular character of Mike de Leon’s comeback movie starring Atom Araullo). Why not Jack?
“Kasi that’s how I feel, eh. Actually, I had many choices — Christian, Kyle. Hindi ko pinili na dapatsomething na close to Charice. I stood in front of the mirror and mentioned the names na napupusuan ko.When I mentioned Jake Zyrus, kinilig ako. Nice name, di ba? Jake Zyrus.”
So kamag-anak mo na si Miley?
“Pinsan, hahahaha!!!”
Isn’t your “pinsan” coming out yet (joke!)?
“Ikakasal na nga, eh…kay Liam (Hemsworth), di ba?”
Have you already told your Ninang Oprah (Winfrey)?
“Actually, kay Miss Oprah ako unang nag-come out as ‘trans’ in 2014 during my last guesting on her show. It was overwhelming! She called the staffers who used to work for her para daw it would feel like the first time, the same staffers whom I met when I first guested on the show. Miss Oprah had them fly to Chicago. Napaka-tahimik! It was a one-on-one interview. Then, Miss Oprah broke the silence, ‘I’m so proud of you! I’ve been following you!’ Updated talaga siya, silang lahat!”
Hindi ba siya na-shocked?
“Not at all. Feeling ko may alam na sila. Sir David (Foster) was also among the first to know. It didn’t come as a surprise to them.”
So are you going to change your name in your passport, passbook and other documents?
“I will still be using my passport with my full name in it, Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco, unless magpa-sex reassignment ako. Wala pa naman ako dun.”
Are you really having a sex reassignment?
“As a transgender, it’s important for me to feel complete, to feel whole. Everything matters, not only the way we dress up; ang puso, isip at damdamin namin ay lalake kami. Iba-iba kami. A lesbian is different from a transgender. Ang lesbian, they know in their heart na babae pa rin sila. May lipstick lesbian, ‘yung hindi halata kasi babaeng-babae ang dating. May butch, yung nagdadamit babae, nagku-cross-dresssila. Transsexuals are those that have undergone sex reassignment.”
So are you serious about having sex reassignment?
“Not anytime soon. I’m in the transition process, kumbaga nagbibinata pa lang ako, hehehehe!!! I’m just enjoying everything, all the changes. That will happen but as I’ve said, not anytime soon. Kumukuha pa ako ng lakas ng loob.”
You’ve been taking hormones. Doesn’t it affect your voice?
“The hormones are being injected every three months. I had my second shot last week. No effect on my voice; only the range will change. If I hit high notes, high notes na ‘yon ng lalake, hindi sa babae.”
So talagang happy ka na ngayon?
“Yes, I feel so free, so happy, so relaxed. Before, every time I performed as Charice, I was careful about my movement, parang lahat may wall…teka, ano ba itong ginagawa ko, baka may mapansin sila. May mga anxiety akong ganoon, may halong pagkukunwari; ingat na ingat ako.”
In short, you were not your real self.
“Even when I came out as a lesbian, I knew that I was not really a lesbian. At that time kasi, you are either tomboy or bakla. I was afraid that I might be bullied. Yon lang ang nire-recognize nila. They were not yet talking about transgender or the other types. Now, there’s LGBTQI.”
How old are you now?
“I’m 25 na.”
You mean to say that in the past 20-plus years you were pretending to be somebody you were not?
“I felt like I was in a movie.”
How old were you when you realized that you were, uhm, different?
“I was five years old, I was in Grade One. Never akong nagka-gusto sa lalake, I never had a crush on a guy…as in never! My crushes were girls. First crush ko nga si Donna Cruz. My brother and I used to play a game; siya ang artista at ako ang bodyguard at driver. He even gave me a name, Jeric Taperas. I didn’t know where he got that name. As early as that time, I knew deep in my heart that I was a boy.”
Oh so you started early, huh!
“Yes. What people knew was the Charice na girlie-girlie but what they didn’t know was that as soon as I got home, I would take off my girlie-girlie dress at pinapalitan ko ng damit panlalake.”
Have you had a girlfriend?
“When I was 13…kaklase ko, hehehe!!! Puppy love, ganoon!”
And when did you lose your innocence?
“Ano po ‘yon?”
Kelan ka na-devirginize?
“Ha?” (Long silence) “Next question, please. Hehehehe!!!”
Anybody in your family or those around you that must have influenced you?
“I’m not sure, pero ayoko naman sabihing wala.”
Your lola is so funny. Maski anong gawin mo daw, babae ka pa rin at magkakaroon ka pa rin ng regla.
“No more like that. When you’re having hormone injection, wala nang ganoon.”
How is your life now?
“Enjoying life as a man. Enjoying everything new, ‘yung mga hindi ko naranasan bilang lalake.”
And enjoying time with your new love. What happened ba between you and Alyssa? Did you really quarrel about money, mga ganoon?
“Nothing like that happened. We parted amicably.”
What about your differences with your family?
“Well, we are a typical family. Minsan may hindi pagkaka-intindihan, you know. Minsan OK, minsan hindi.”
You were not able to save daw because you are waldas (spendthrift)?
“Who said so? As if they know me well, as if they are sleeping with me. Yes, I am waldas because I buy things that I need for myself, my clothes, my music equipment, and other things I need for my career. It’s my money and I spend it the way I want to.”
How do you see yourself 10 years from now, padre de familia?
(Laughs) “Maybe. I will still be performing and having my own studio.”
At this point, something dropped, creating a loud bang. Charice, er, Jake, reacted by breaking into a little scream. I teased him, “Uy, babae ka pa rin ha!” He laughed and said, “Hindi, pare, ha! Hehehehe!!!”

What i just want to say in this article is that we should let him do his choices. The guy already spent 20 years of her life pretending to be a girl that she doesn’t really like. We are already on a fast phase and we should be more supportive and accepting when it comes to our brothers and sisters who are making a big changes in their lives. We should support them because those changes will make their life happier. Here in the Philippines, being in a LGBTQ community is a tough choice because they get bullied, they get discriminated, and most of the people that surrounds them doesn’t even support them. The last thing they need is getting insulted from us. And plus they’re human beings, like all of us they have feelings and they deserve to be treated with respect. they haven’t done anything to harm us and why can’t we just accept the fact they chose to be that way and we can’t do anything about it. Most LGBTQ members are successful because of the hard stuff they go through and maybe if we fully accept them the world would be a better place.

Where in the world is Xander Ford?
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Xander Ford is missing. According to Star Image Artist, the talent agency handling the internet sensation, they had to cancel two events since the singer has disappeared. He was last seen in Cavite on November 23.
In a previous statement, they said that they received information that a certain woman named Emz was reportedly keeping him. The post has since been deleted.
"We got an information from a reliable source that Xander Ford is being hidden by a certain "Emz" at her private place in Paliparan Cavite. May this serve as a FINAL WARNING to the people who want to hide Xander from his Family and his management, you will surely face LEGAL implications."
Formerly known as Marlou Arizala, Xander Ford became a viral sensation after his cosmetic surgery procedures were documented on the show Rated K, hosted by Korina Sanchez in September. (READ: Ex-Hasht5 member Marlou Arizala unveils new look, new name)
He was a former member of the Hasht5, a group that was often bashed online. He went solo in 2016. In October, he found himself earning the ire of KathNiel fans and celebrities when a video of him then as Marlou resurfaced wherein he was insulting Kathryn Bernardo He since apologized and filed charges of cyberbullying against those who uploaded the video. – Rappler.com
https://www.rappler.com/entertainment/news/189471-xander-ford-missing-cavite
Xander Ford suddenly became a huge topic on social media and in the national tv that gained numerous comments and thoughts after his cosmetic surgery and changing his name which nearly changed his whole identity. Even some personalities gave there thoughts about the artist, but after the change Xander had gone through, many people thinks that he became arrogant. With this, Xander received countless hate comments and messages which really affected him in his life and career.
After I read this article about Mr. Xander Ford missing and watched the video of him apologizing about this issue of him saying that he's not really missing, he mentioned that he just had a leave from work because he got tired and wanted to rest. I think, maybe he is not really physically tired but rather, emotionally tired because of the unwanted comments and thoughts about him. Xander is just really trying his best to be himself and be accepted as what he is today, to be comfortable with his new self and be wanted by many, took a break from the hates and judgments.

Arci Muñoz Finally Breaks Silence Over “Cosmetic Surgery” Allegation
Here is the statement of Arci Muñoz over the “nose lift” allegation being thrown about her.
Beautiful Kapamilya actress Arci Muñoz finally breaks her silence as she released a statement over the “nose lift” allegation being thrown at her recently.Lately, the Kapamilya artist Arci Muñoz have trended when a fan posted photos together with her and netizens noticed the changes on her face especially on the parts of the lips and the nose.Because of this, people of the online community could not help but keep gushing about it.Netizens did not hide their disappointment for a lot have agreed that Arci looks beautiful already before, for her to undergo “another cosmetic surgery.”Allegations rounding off and making waves on the online platform states as well that she had probably or possibly underwent an operation to enhance that part of her face only that netizens did not quite like the results. And finally, the actress broke her silence.According to the interview made by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep) as it was shared by the Facebook page Viral Videos, Arci’s statement when asked if she had something operated on her face, she just said:“Masaya ako basta happy ako. I’m just really happy. I think more than the physical appearance, it’s the inside. E, nagpapakapal naman talaga ako ng lips kasi. Nilalagpasan ko yung lipstick ko eh. Napaka-open naman natin. So? Ano ba? (referring to cosmetic surgery). It’s open naman di ba? Personally, I’m not against it. It’s my body. And whatever’s gonna make me feel more comfortable and more confident sa aking sarili, I’ll do it. If I remove my lagpas lipstick, I’d probably look the same. I’ll probably look like a Grade 6 student.”Arci neither denied nor confirmed the allegations.
https://philnews.ph/2017/08/11/arci-munoz-breaks-silence-allegation/
What i just want to say is that it’s her own body. People these days tend to pull people down in order to make their selves feel better. It’s her own body and we don’t have a say or anything because it is what she wanted. She wanted to make herself more confident and she has the money so why not right? In this world, whatever we do they judge us. She just wanted to be more confident and i don’t get why people keeps on saying negative stuff to her when we can just support her, instead of making her feel bad. It’s her decision and she doesn’t have to ask permission to her fans, to the netizens or to anyone at all to make her self feel better. People these days make fun of other people who are trying their very best to change instead of supporting them and inspiring them more. Surgery is not really a big deal anymore. Anyone who can afford it can have a surgery if they want to. If you want to change something in your life, then do it. Take the risk. Life’s too short and tomorrow is not a guarantee. Do what makes you happy, be with those that make you smile and love life. And life is too short to worry about stupid things. have fun, fall in love and regret nothing and don’t let people bring you down.
