Ibn al-Qayyim:
“The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous of people, and he was at his most generous in Ramadan, when he would give a great deal of charity, do good deeds, read Qur'ān, remember Allāh (dhikr) and observe i'tikaf.”

Taraweeh is truly amazing and Tahajjud is truly beautiful but one of our main focuses in this month should also be to transform our relationship with our Fardh salah– the Salah that will stay in our lives even after Ramadan leaves.
Pray on time. Pray the Sunnah. Learn the meaning of what you recite. Pray slowly. Feel the connection with your Creator.
“Verily, the believer in prayer is in a private conversation with his Lord." [Bukhari]💌

March 11 - Monday | Ramadan Challenge 1/30
Today was the last day to submit the tests for my Islamic classes so I listened to 5 hours worth of lectures at 1.75 speed to catch up and take the tests 😅 my Ramadan goals this year are pretty chill, I’m not trying to overachieve, just trying to be better than my usual baseline.
a habit to build: praying sunnahs, a habit to break: delaying salah, accomplishment I hope to gain: finish reading / annotating at least (2) of my Islamic books 📚

One day you will thank Allah for the door He has closed. You will be grateful that it didn’t work out for you, Allah’s plans are better than our wishes.

Somewhere, someone is praying for you.
They are asking As-Salam (The Giver of Peace), to give you nothing but peace.
They are asking Al-Ghafoor (The Forgiving), to forgive all of your sins.
They are asking Ar-Razzaaq (The Provider), to provide you with everything you need.
They are asking Al-Hakam (The Giver or Justice), to guide those who have betrayed you.
They are asking Al-Hafeedh (The Protector), to protect you from anyone who doesn't have good intentions towards you.
They are asking Al-Mujeeb (The Responsive One), to answer all of your duas.
Be patient like As-Saboor (The Patient).
Soon their prayers for you will be answered.
And so will yours.
