This is another video I made called ‘Flowering’. I was going to submit this for my major project but because it was really simple and I didn’t experiment with it much, I thought I’d make another video which I was already experimenting with anyway.

This work is called flowering because the effect I used, which was just the Reflect Horizontally and the opacity produced a beautiful flowering type effect.

The footage was also shot during a dance production rehearsal and many of the dancers were young. While I was watching, I saw them all grow, learn and blossum together which I feel very lucky to have experienced.

Religion also influences art. Religion provides the subject matter and content of religion for art.

Aesthetic ecstasy and religious fanaticism are two united factions. Both art and religion are means to the same psychological state. It should be acknowledged that art and religion do have something in common in the way they understand and control the world. Like religious feelings, aesthetic feelings are often detached from daily life and seek spiritual pleasure rather than material satisfaction.
