True, Iris *is* respectful of Spheer's identity & pronouns - however, him and Spheer are on good terms, whereas Iris' father straight-up killed Circu with Iris' knowledge. (Maybe it's kind of a literal deadnaming sense, since before Circu was killed he was known as Circusic, and never changed his name back to Circusic after being un-corrupted.)

Now I do agree that Iris isn't as much of an asshole as to misgender Circu, however it does seem a bit odd that Iris would put emphasis on Circu's deadname, especially knowing that Circu is already uncomfortable by his presence.

TPC theory about Circubit [Spoilers for S2!]

Circubit in his debuts (both in the shorts and in S2E1) is seen as being incredibly happy with being corrupt. Like, really happy. So happy that he literally can't take it when he's uncorrupted, in contrast to other characters. We also know that Circubit seems to be the same person both corrupted and un-corrupted, whereas with with other characters who have been corrupted they are basically different people. Circubit seems way more comfortable being a corrupt, and would honestly prefer to forget his life as an uncorrupted shape. We also know that instead of just being a re-colour, Circubit has a lot of differences in terms of appearance, most noticeably his hair. It's way shorter, only being a low ponytail with bangs. Whereas uncorrupted, Circu's hair resembles that of Rincle, Marcle and any of the specifically female spheres.

In S2E1, the way that Circubit is so so eager to show off his new look, and the way that he tells (mainly directed at Iris) that "[he's going to fight him] as Circubit", putting emphasis on his new name.

So... From the scene where Circu (in his uncorrupted form) wakes up, the first interaction he has is Iris only referring to him as Circusic, while putting so much emphasis on that name. We also have to consider that Iris pretends to care about him, to which Circu responds with "shouldn't you be caring about you and your girlfriend?". We know from an earlier confirmation from the creator that Iris is straight - or at least isn't gay, bi, anything that would imply an attraction to men.

So, from this, we can not only infer that Circubit is a trans guy, but also gets straight-up deadnamed by Iris.
