All "Joo Won-ah"s from the show.
Interestingly, the person who says "Joo Won-ah" the most is no one other than Kwon Hyuk. His "Joo Won-ah" is natural and easy. Even though he is not sure if Joo Won thinks him as family, he clearly sees Joo Won as a brother.
Meanwhile, look at this man. Joo Won is always "Han Joo Won" or "Inspector Han Joo Won" or "you brat" to him, but then the few times he addresses his son "Joo Won-ah" is when he wants a positive public image as a loving father, when he wants Joo Won to stop being an obstacle to his grand goal, or when he thinks he and Joo Won can be a perfect family without his "troublesome" wife. God his audacity disgusts me.
The only scene with Lee Soo Yeon, Joo Won's mother, and here she calls her son again and again. Watching it breaks my heart every time. Is this how Joo Won forever remembers his mother's "Joo Won-ah", with her crying and screaming?
Just twice, but each "Joo Won-ah" is so very powerful and meaningful. There is trust and love and care in both of them. I imagine Dong Sik's "Joo Won-ah" would always have a special place in Joo Won's heart, and it would never fail to make it flutter.
