We started the company trying to identify a business solution to a social problem. In Nicaragua, during the wet milling process of coffee beans, a small coffee farm generates more than 400 kg of "pulp" per hectare. If not treated in the proper way, this by-product polluts drinking water sources and the natural environment . Aiming to transform the economy of local coffee communities in Nicaragua by using the pulp, we have created two different products: Cascara Tea and Coffee Cherry Flour.
