Tim sent the text and waited. “He said he will be here in ten minutes.”

“If you need me, I’ll be upstairs with Tim.” she said hugging Brandon waiting to get up until she heard the knock on the door. “Come on in, Miles.” Alisha called as she headed up the stairs.

Brandon nodded as Tim walked into the room. “Baby what exactly should I say that will make him actually come here?”

Alisha looked up at Tim, just tell him I wanna talk to him, that I lost my phone and he better not make the heavily pregnant lady drive.”

“I haven’t even really spoken to him in months. My brother has been the main go between when I talk to the kids.” Brandon fiddled with his ring. “I don’t know what to do.”

“Would you hate me if I made Tim text him?” she asked “I hate seeing you like this and I want you to smile again, maybe work something out between you and him.”

“I don’t know.” He shrugged. “I know I would feel like shit if I found something like that on his phone.” Tim called from the kitchen. “No teepeeing. You’re supposed to be resting.” Brandon looked down. “I just want him to come after me, you know? He should know i’m back by now.”

Alisha moved closer to Brandon, her head resting against his shoulder “I would do anything for you.” she said softly “I understand how you feel, Brandon and I agree, he should come in here like in those cheesy romantic comedies we love, on his knees begging for you.”

“It was my fault.” He ran his fingers through his hair. “I never should have told him Sam was reaching out to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if he thought I was with them instead of filming.”

“It’s not your fault, would he rather have found out by seeing it on your phone or you telling him straightforward?” Alisha asked rubbing her hand over her bump “I think you did the right thing, Brandon, I really do.” Alisha said taking his hand into hers “Do you want me to wrap his car in toilet paper?” she whispered trying to make him smile

“Thank you. Have I told you your my favorite girl?” He sat up and sighed. “I know but I don’t know how to.”

“Maybe a time or two, I love being your favorite girl.” she smiled sitting down criss cross on the large couch. “I feel like you need to make your feelings known, you guys are so good together, I know you can make it through this.”

“What happened?” Bridget asked a little concern

Tyler kissed his best friend’s head. “We’ll be there as soon as I talk to her.” Tyler could see Tim starting to call.

“Of course she does, we wouldn’t it any other way.” Justin said as Alisha leaned her head on Tyler’s shoulder. “You and Bridget come on up.”

Alisha shook her head “Of course she does, she wants all our kids with us.”

“I texted you kiddo, mom suggested you, your sister, bridget and logan all come to the beach house.” he said “Sober up, come tomorrow so we can all be on a little family getaway.”
