I have to go.”
“Okay, baby,” he mumbles into her hair. He’s warm and sleepy, eyes heavy and barely even open. She’s half draped over his chest, hands curled into fists under her chin. He doesn’t know how long they’ve been like this but he’s not going to question it. Not when it feels so damn good. “Whatever you want.”
“That easy, huh?” she replies and he can hear the irritated smirk in her voice. He doesn’t like the idea of her going out without him but he doesn’t want to fight her at the moment.
