Rewatched Arcane
Yeah its still pretty awesome. Whatll be interesting to see coming up is if they continue the current storyline or if they pivot to another region like the Ionia v Noxus conflicts and tell a new set of characters stories. Ik that the homoerotic nature of Vi/Cait is desired but given the current story, they really did jam as many characters in as possible. Viktor, Jayce, Cait, Vi, Jinx, (Singed), (Mundo?), Heimy, Ekko...
Ik Noxus is on the horizon, but Im really only seeing cast additions like Talon, Swain, Darius, and Draven being additions unless the story moves to Noxus. All depends on if the writers want to create a new story in a new region (like the whole Vi/Powder lore) or if they want to keep the current one moving forward full steam.
Ig if there is an assassination attempt, it would lead into a war between Piltover and Noxus, thus leading to more characters.
Then again, maybe the play is to intentionally keep the field of relevant characters down so we dont have the clusterfuck of characters like Marvel has. I wouldnt be surprised if Ekko and Heimy drop off from the story except maybe they reappear in one episode idk.

So the deep lore apparently suggests that Marcille is Italian, but the basis is her surname (Donato) and spaghetti and meatballs being an exemplar of the local cuisine... but in our world spaghetti and meatballs is more of a fusion cuisine that got its start in Italoamerican enclaves, so I'm going to go ahead and claim her for Elf South Philly.
