Kyouko had a good relationship with her grandfather and a bad one with her own father. After her mother’s death during birth, it’s only natural she felt uncomfortable with anything that involved killing another animal, which was something his father had tried to teach her to do. His grandfather, on the other hand, taught her things she liked - exploring and investigating.

‘’Oh, Akamatsu… You know I always get what I want…’’
i didn’t know i’d get so attached to one of the incoming game characters but here i am- so naturally i drew him for my TLK AU. i love the fact that his talent is literally ‘shsl dictator’ like, wtf? i love it. he appears so sweet and naive until he opens his mouth, probably. of course we don’t have much info on the game yet but i like to adapt him to my AU as a lion who wants to take over the lands and control them. same old song kinda, but i just love dickhead characters like that for some reason.
it’s been a while since i’ve drawn something decent myself. i kinda had to force the background and light effects on this one, but the result is okay…?
while drawing this i imagined the scenario of him trying to convince akamatsu that he will one day rule the lands, and she’s all like 'yeah right’ on him… and he does this. i was kinda inspired by scar’s words in a deleted scene from the first movie, where he wants nala as his queen.

While Hinata was taking a stroll around the turf without Matsuda’s supervision, he was suddenly pounced by a body smaller than his own. Unluckily for him, they both rolled off the nearby hill and fell into a giant pool of mud, formed by the recent rains. Naturally, they got slightly dirty with mud and upon realizing he was facing one of Yukizome’s cubs, he scoffed and stood up.
‘‘Hey! Just what do you think you’re doing? You got me all dirty!’‘, he complained, pushing Chiaki off him. He appeared as if he really minded it, though the female cub thought otherwise.
‘‘You’re the Prince, right? I just wanted to play!’‘, she giggled, prancing about playfully. ‘‘Come onnnn! Oh, I know, let’s play tag! You’re it!’‘ And with that, the recently proclaimed Prince received a tail tug from the lioness, much to his unamusement.
More TLK AU content- The sketch for this one is actually months old (I think I drew it when Summer began), but it wasn’t until recently that I could finish it. Don’t worry, Hinata and Nanami start a bit awkwardly in this arc but they get along quite well in the future-

i tried to make a cuphead-styled junko… but i was so lazy i did it on mouse instead of doing an independent lineart traditionally and then scanning it lol…
i was planning on doing a screen battle thing but i remembered i barely have skills to do good, detailed backgrounds so. a game over screen it is.

finally, after 4-5 months of hiatus, i go back to drawing seriously again ;u; being in academy classes has helped me a ton in order to improve my anatomy, composition, backgrounds and even my color palette choices. recently i’ve felt invested in watership down, and being the furry nerd i am, i decided to make an AU for DR- packed with a little story i’ll leave under the cut~
i’m REALLY proud of the background and the way i shaded it. usually i suck at doing backgrounds but this looks so good for what i usually do! not to mention there’s been a level up in everything else as well asjhdkhs
i’ll try to doodle something regularly- i already have some doodles ready to get inked and coloured, so stay tuned~

Kaede: I owe you and the Owsla more than I could describe, Shuichi-roo. You fought against your fears despite all odds and came rescue me, always in search for the truth. I’ll be fine - it takes more than a shining wire to faze me.
Shuichi: But… the hunter–
Kaede: Everyone in the Owsla fought bravely, and that includes you. Heh… You’re more distressed than me, huh? It’s fine… I’m not joining the Black Rabbit’s Owsla anytime soon, Shuichi-roo.
Shuichi: Can I… rest by you tonight, Kaede-rah?
Kaede: Always can, silly. And… we talked about this. Just call me Kaede.
i had this finished from a week or so back and it’s now that i decided to upload it~ a watership down AU with ndrv3 characters!
kaede is the leader of a warren which consists of most of the ndrv3 cast. the lead of her owsla is actually maki, but at one point kaede wandered off alone admist the snow to find food and ended up caught in a snare. shuichi sensed she was taking too much time and decided to fetch the owsla, which resulted in her rescue.
at first i planned this to be a comic with a couple more pages, but once i was done with the first page i realized making a comic is very damn tedious despite my skills, so i stopped and simply did a follow-up drawing- but basically when they found her, kaito started to dig out the snare and a hunter almost shot them, but they managed to escape despite the critical of the situation.
poor shuichi’s very shaken up by the events though and feels very scared still, but kaede reassures him c:
