Ruffio can’t help but be happy. Her and a few of her brothers had recently started a band. They were not good at first, not at all. It took a few months but they were decent. And Ruffio loved playing the drums, especially with a few of the older lost boys. It kept them connected. And finally they had a gig at The Rabbit Hole. She’s giddy, and there one person she wants to share it with more than anyone.

She uses the key Liam gave her to open his place and hurry in. Ruffio throws the bags of groceries on the counter, greeting Liam in the kitchen with a quick kiss on the lips ❝ You’re never gonna guess wha’ happened, Liam! We got a gig! Thud, Pockets and I goin’ t’ play at The Rabbit Hole. Ruby played a sample of us for the owner, he said we were good enough t’ play this weekend. ‘m so excited! ❞

She moves to place some food in his fridge. ❝ So, I decided ‘m gonna cook ya dinner. Jus’ cause ‘m so happy. And if it’s horrible then we’ll get some take out. You’re choice if my cookin’ is bad, darlin’. ❞ Ruffio turns to face Liam as she heard him in his living room and stops short at seeing Killian there as well. ❝ Killian, I I didn’ know you were here. ❞

And normally seeing him wouldn’t ever be a problem, except she hadn’t exactly told him she was dating Liam.
