Why you should never buy sex toys on Amazon.
I see people on here all the time talking about buying sex toys on Amazon so it’s time to run through this again. I know it may seem like you’re saving money but when something seems too good to be true it usually is.
The main reason you shouldn’t buy sex toys on Amazon is that, unlike buying from reputable retailers, you have absolutely no garuntee that the product you’re buying hasn’t been used, returned, and resold. The sex you industy in America is almost completely unregulated so really can’t trust amazon to hold better business practices than legally required. People have found bodily fluid and pubic hair on toys purchased from Amazon.
The second biggest reason is that you’re more than likely buying an expensive knock off labeled as a brand name item. The way the amazon marketplace works is by sorting items with the same bar code name into the same catagory. So let’s say you want a wi vibe so you pay for one but what happens is that amazon doesn’t log a difference between a brand name Wi-vibe and a knock off from China. They’re both just labeled “wi-vibe” so you pay for a quality item and get a cheap knock off. So you may think you’re getting a high quality item for $50 but instead you’re getting a $10 look alike that will die and malfunction quickly. Imagine paying for a Lelo (the most luxury sex toy brand) and getting something nothing like that.
And lastly, it’s not safe for you! Because the chances of you getting a knock off are so high, it’s very likely that you’ll get something made out of harmful materials. A lot of the sex toys made cheaply in China and places like that have no body safe regulations on materials so not only could you pay for a brand name item and not get it , but you might actually get something that could make you sick or even poison you. Some toys will even leak oils and chemicals when exposed to water or fluids.
In summation, buying from Amazon is NOT safe for you, will most likely rip you off, and you could even be getting used products.
Below I’m listing Dangerous Lily’s list of best places to buy. I recommend reading her reviews before purchasing anything expensive.
Where to buy:
SheVibe
Early to bed
Smitten Kitten
Good Vibes
Come as you are
Be vibrant
HotOctopuss
And directly from the brand retailor like we-vibe, Lelo, body wand, etc.

Yknow it belatedly occurs to me that those old ways of “welp, we had a drought, a famine, and a plague so the gods don’t like our king, lets get rid of him” actually make logical sense. If the king didn’t encourage infrastructure like digging wells, or invest in putting money aside to help feed people in times of crisis, or didn’t enact laws to stop the spread of disease....yeah. He needed to go. Not because the gods were angry, but because he was a bad king, and putting a new one in authority who would do those things to fix the problems would at least help weather the storm more effectively.

TLDR: Taal Volcano (located in the Philippines) is active right now and could have a massive eruption at any moment. ~560,000 people are in immediate danger and millions more could be affected by it.
(this is barely being reported on by western news btw. why talk about natural disasters when we could talk about british royal family drama)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What’s happened as of January 14th:
“The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has since raised the alert for Taal to level 4 which means a ‘hazardous eruption’ is possible within days or hours.”
On January 13th, Taal shot lava into the air for an hour and a half, reaching hights of half a mile, along with static lighting and giant clouds of ash
Taal has had 50 volcanic earthquakes within a period of 8 hours
Buildings close to Taal have collapsed under the weight of ash
The “calamity zone” is everywhere within a 9 mile radius of the volcano. 560,000 people live in this zone and only 30,000 have evacuated.
It’s in the middle of a huge lake (as you can see in the pictures), and an eruption could trigger a tsunami
The CNN Philippines website has a list of groups accepting donations to help evacuees

I understand why people dislike leather and animal products. But leather is such a good resource? Like… My mom bought a sturdy leather coat in 1989. I’m in my 20’s and I now wear that coat. That’s a 30 year old coat? 30 years, two generations, one coat. Versus, like… A plastic one, that rips and gets thrown out, or releases bits into the ecosystem every time it’s washed, takes a billion years to decompose, lasts maybe a decade if you’re super duper careful, and uses oil products in it’s construction. Like, yeah leather is expensive and comes from a living animal, and I’m not saying that you should go out and buy fifty fur and leather products for the he’ll of it, but like… Maybe the compromise is worth it? One animal product, valued and respected and worn down for generations, versus like… Six plastic products that will never ever go away?
idk, I could be wrong.

A group in Berlin has sent Donald Trump a piece of the barrier that divided East and West for nearly three decades as a dig at the president’s southern U.S. border plans.
A 2.7-tonne section of the Berlin Wall is being delivered to the White House as part of “The Wall Against Walls” initiative by the Berlin-based pro-democracy nonprofit group Die Offene Gesellschaft (The Open Society).
Signed by “Citizens of Berlin,” the wall bears the message: “We would like to give you one of the last pieces of the failed Berlin Wall to commemorate the United States’ dedication to building a world without walls.”
“Germany is united again and in Berlin only a few scattered pieces remind us that no wall lasts forever,” the message painted on the slab reads.

Hey guys, if this movie is showing wherever you are, please boycott it
Tumblr media
There are so many things wrong with it and it is Extremely disrespectful to Filipinos.
1. Ferdinand Magellan was sent by Spain to search for Moluccas, but ended up on Philippine shores. This is during the time European colonizers competed with each other as to who gets to colonize most of the world.
2. This movie is framing Lapu-Lapu, a Filipino hero, as a villain. The irony right? Lapu-Lapu was a chief of his tribe. He led them to battle to protect them and their land from these colonizers. It was rightfully so.
3. These colonizers had the goal of taking Gold, converting people to their Christian God, and achieving Glory in conquering the rest of the world. These white men saw how much gold the Filipinos had and wanted them for themselves.
4. Knowing they made the colonizers the protagonists here, it’s very likely the Filipinos will be portrayed as savages. Which is again, very disrespectful. There were early accounts providing that pre-colonial Filipinos were actually civilized. Do not believe the accounts likening Filipinos to monkeys. Our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal has produced a written work debunking that and proving that pre-colonial Filipinos were civilized and had systems that worked in governing people. Pre-colonial Filipinos treated women as equals of men too.
5. And making that POC to be an ally of Magellan? Apalling. Her name is also the name of one of the major Philippine Islands which were also one of the first places Spain conquered in the Philippines.
6. They also made the Filipino chieftain of Cebu, highly dependent upon the colonizers to fix his tribe’s problems. This was not at all the case. The tribe had a government system and its own rules to deal with predicaments. The heads of tribes which did not attack the colonizers, were converted into Christianity and it took blood compacts to seal agreements between the tribes and the colonizers.
7. People were also saying a lot of the character designs look unoriginal and that the designs were ripped off El Dorado. And a lot of the designs for the Filipinos don’t even look like Filipinos.
So yeah. I’m just very heated about this. This is an atrocity and deserves no one to see it. May the spirits of the fallen pre-colonial warriors haunt and torment the scum behind this movie.
