The message text that I can read, and a machine translation, are as follows. V. Kroy surely refers to Voronika Kroy, of the original Feverish Feeling!

The image ends with the text "eiamrucdvrturxoevecid". This, and the prominent numbers "196-17-1", must be the next clue! (The page also contains the very faded numbers "5678" near the bottom.)

The tragedy of Clara, for me, is that she really wants to be loved but everyone treats her either as saint to worship or an enemy to hate, no in-between. For me, her ending in classic is sad not only because of the sacrifices (cuz every ending in classic requires you to perform a sacrifice) but because, though she believes she finally decided her destiny, she imho is still following the reins that won't let her be a normal kid. At that point the only adult who's willing to adopt her... Wants to bring her to war as a Joan of arc figure??? Hurray???

I think most problems with Pathologic 2 can be traced down to the fact that the developers weren't sure if they'd have enough resources to create other routes so they cramed everything into Artemy's storyline
The bound are a perfect example. In the original they clearly stated your goal (these are the people you need to protect because you have the same goal, if you fail to protect them you also fail). And because each healer's bound have completely different ideologies, it allowed the player to examine these ideologies, as well as the characters more thoroughly
However, in Pathologic 2 they tried to include all of the characters at once, so we only saw a little bit of everything and didn't have the time to get attached to them. It's also why we have so much screentime of Lara, Grief and Rubin, despite these being Clara's bound. Artemy's character also changed a lot. It seems like he's the character of all healers combined, having Clara's meta bullshit and Danil's racism
They also sanitized a lot of what made the original game unique, like the music and the dialogue, to make it more aproachable to an average gamer. I understand why they did that, but it's still disappointing. The game feels so empty in comparison
