Puki I turn 18 tomorrow do you have any advice for being an adult
You’re not an adult just cause one number changed to another number, u ain’t a god-damned Sim are you? You gain nothing and lose nothing by turning 18, just learn as you always have, little small child.
You may have noticed that these past few months, I've been very inactive on this account. The truth is that I don't really have a lot of interest anymore in HL fandom-wise. I still support and listen to their music, but I'm not really into being a stan for them anymore. Part of it is general disinterest in what's happening to them, part of it is general disdain towards the fandom, and, I will admit, some of HL's actions.
Anyway, just wanted to say my piece 💓 I have a new account where it's more on my general interests outside of HL. DM me if you still wanna follow that, but other than that, this is my Adieu. Maybe I'll come back, maybe not. Either way, being in this fandom was a learning experience with its pros and cons, but it was a good run. Cheers! 🥂

Honestly wish you'd stick around so I could feel like I wasn't the only one...maybe it's because I'm a poc but the way I see so many here disregard the racism is making me not want to be here either. So I don't blame you for not. You don't have to post this or anything, just wanted you to know.
Feel free to message me, I still stick around on this account, I just don't post anything here anymore.
But yes, it's upsetting to see how fans aren't listening to the voices of POC and WOC, (especially Black people), who want to call out the racism the Grammys display. They aren't "whining because their fave lost", they're pointing out how the Grammys once again showed their face on how different they treat white people vs POC.
Also, unpopular opinion, but people can be upset with Harry's wording that "this thing doesn't happen to people like him". I'm sure he meant it differently, but it comes off as incredibly tone deaf, especially in the context that everyone was expecting Beyoncé to win. Of course people will connect it to race, as this has been the Grammys' main controversy for years — not giving flowers to POC artists. Harry is white, and white people have almost always won AOTY.
